I waited 3 months for my review. First I give them 2 stars for the quality of the product. For the staff at their offices- I would give them a minus. I am a retired Construction Project Manager/ Facility Manager so I'm very familiar with Contractors. I paid the deposit and next appointment was 6 weeks out. They called at 5 weeks and schedule the appointment another two weeks out (7 weeks total). The Installers arrived on time and did a fantastic job. We are very pleased with the quality of the sliding glass door. Beautiful! We had an old slider removed and doubled the space for the new slider, we got one with blinds inside. The Installers had to knock out part of the wall around the new slider for the expansion. When, they finished they advised the Painter/ Texture paint person would be at my house in two days. The verbiage in my contract with Pella stated that they would handle everything and the Sales Person said you won't be able to tell that it was installed. The painter came and did the work but it was very obvious finished work did not a match. I made multiple efforts to reach Pella (phone and emails)- no response. After weeks of no response I hired my own painter who did a great job. I sent Pella a letter with a check deducting what I paid the painter. They cashed the check but never called. Well, another technician, another half day of work missed, another incorrectly ordered part. Technician said it would be about a month for the corrected part, and that he would alert the schedulers that this is a security emergency. Email comes from the office: Can't get someone out again until mid-June. This will officially put them over the year mark from the first attempts to schedule. This is 3 fully or partially missed days of work unnecessarily because they can't order the correct parts. This is a safety hazard as our barndoor sized patio door has actually come off the tracks and nearly crushed people/pets so we have not used it in that long. I called the office and asked to speak to the woman who does the emailing and the secretary said she's too busy, she's always busy, but she could TRY to give her a message. Okay great. Did she call back, no, she sent an email saying she understood my frustration and that she reached out to the instillation manager to see if there was sooner availability. It's really sad. This company makes a quality product, but this franchise is not worth your effort or money. We have several Pella windows in our home, and we were looking to install several more. When we called the manager, he literally told us "It's not worth my time to replace your windows." Uh, really?! He was insulting and missed what could possibly be a really big sale, since we are the type of people that sort of get addicted to projects and go overboard. Find someone else to use other than these guys.

Spoke to a human (who was going to pass on message) and left a voicemail directly with the person I need, and still can't get a call back for over a week. This would be new business for them and I would think it would be easy just to make a call and get me on the schedule for a visit later.If they won't return a phone call before they get your money, I would imagine it will be much harder after you have paid and then have a problem.

The service with this company is horrific. This would be ok if the had an outstanding product but they don't things..... break down and it takes forever to get them serviced.The service department doesn't communicae or return calls. The only thing this company is quick at is selling... then they are gone.Don't buy Pella.

We ordered and paid for a replacement wooden grill for our Pella patio door in June 2024. The doors were installed by the previous owners of the house and it was not an easy process working with this company to obtain measurements and order the grille. The grille arrived in July 2024, but could not be installed. Either it was measured incorrectly or made incorrectly, regardless the installer measured the doors and ordered a new grille due to arrive in October. Arrived it did and again could not be installed because it did not fit. For the third time: the installer took measurements and ordered a wooden grille. It's December now. I think maybe this company will receive the grille on Decemby17, 2024 with an unknown install date. The office is not particularly helpful or concerned and the guy they say is responsible for installation is out of town. That they have had our money for 6 months while to date failing to deliver the grille does not appear to worry the company. I am not happy at all.

2 months later, the service person shows up and is very courteous young man.Told windows are too old for parts. I bought the house new in 2005. Service person told me to call a 3rd party because he does not know anything about this model , the 3rd party is a former pella employee. I asked to have a manager call me to discuss how to fix my window and have not heard from them since my early May appointment. I have given them enough time to resolve. I will be calling the corporate office and ask to have a service person from another city call me to resolve or give me options to resolve the issue with my window.

update. again. again, a very nice service man came to the house, again I took a half day off, again he didn't have the parts required for the job and had to order again, it will be another month before they come in; he seemed sincerely sorry, and again said he would ask for a rush due to the safety issue. (Remember, I cant use my back door (French) which is the size of a barn door, because it almost crushed people when it fell off the track. But no, the lovely Wendy Trevizo who never contacts in person, only email, is offering another service appointment 6 weeks after that, so we're over a year into the process of what was promised again and again to be a simple fix. My family isn't safe. My home isn't safe. Thanks Pella

Our house is less than 30 years old. It has 56 Pella windows and 8 Pella doors. I waited 2+ months for a technician to come to the house for a list of repair issues. The tech was very pleasant, but I learned that Pella doesn't support screens for the windows. They don't support the broken door lock mechanism. They don't replace windows where the seal has worn down over time and has allowed moisture between the panes. The only thing they're willing to do is replace a couple of the window mechanisms if I pay well in advance with another two-month delay until they can come back. This is not a company that stands behind its products.
