This is how they think they should secure an AC drain line.

I was recommended by family that this company is reputable but they are not. Initially they gave me an estimate which was outrageous (over a grand) so I decided to buy most of the parts they recommended. ( I am a teacher so I don't have loads of money) They did tell me if I bought new parts, they were not "guaranteed". So I did decide to buy the water heater, gas line, expansion tank and the few other parts they said I needed. In the end, they did not confer with me about those new parts I bought and they only used the water heater I bought at Lowe's but not the new parts (their choice) It seemed like they were trying to save me money, which I appreciated, but now my water heater is leaking from the top. The owner Al, came out, tightened it and said it should never leak again. It did, so I called him again and he said he would come out and fix it. This was 2.5 weeks ago, (water heater is still leaking all this time BTW) NEVER said "Oh by the way, we are charging you labor plus the part." I assumed since they did not use the new parts I bought, that that was on them. I called him and tried to work it out. I told him that when I called him the second time he did not tell me upfront he was charging me labor and that I needed to buy the new part. He decides to call me two days BEFORE to say, "Oh btw, I am charging you labor and parts." I did not appreciate him not being upfront, assumed since they did not use the new parts I bought, that that was on them. Nooooooo, I was sadly mistaken. This company IMO is all about the $$ and not good customer service. Now I have to call someone else to come out and do the job they SHOULD have done in the first place! I am so disappointed because they came highly recommended. Don't try to reason with Al the owner either, because he will try to make you fee like it is your fault, he will raise his voice and yell at you, he even had the audacity to say to me, "Oh, I knew you would say that." as if the situation was my fault, when clearly, it is not. He has so much business right now his only concern is making that dough and not great customer service. I do not recommend this company. Also, when trying to problem solve, this owner AL AND his wife Pearl BOTH have terrible people skills. In conversations they "talk over you" and never really LISTEN to the customer. Pearl just told me that she could not talk to me and that I would have to wait to talk to their worker "Matthew" because she she apparently didn't have to ppl skills to work out this problem. If this is how they run their company, letting other employees deal with THEIR problems, DO NOT USE THEM SMHI was recommended by family that this company is reputable but they are not. Made an appointment to talk about installing mini-split in a home studio project. Never came, no notice. Did not respond to follow-up phone calls. Extremely unprofessional.

I highly recommend Al and his team. They are honest, reliable and all around good people. They installed a heater ac unit for me and it works great. They also gave me the best estimate out of all I contacted. I will use them in the future and can't recommend them enough

If I could give this company zero stars I would. This guy and his son came about 10 years ago to my house to install a furnace and an evaporative cooler. As I came to find out later, the son never attached cooler to the plenum on the roof- I had my roof redone and they found out he just left it sitting on there and never screwed it on to the heating duct. Meanwhile, his idiot father was busily putting in the exact wrong furnace for the location. He put it in a high efficiency furnace with the condensation drip line when my furnace is in the a closet in the hallway. He ran the drip line with the pump up to my roof where it promptly froze. But that was the least of the problems from this furnace installation. He never changed the apertures on the pipes from gas to propane. My furnace was running 24/7 and only getting up to 57 degrees. It got all sooted up and could have killed me. They took my furnace to Johnson Controls to use as an example of what not to do. I got my money back when I threatened him with small claims court as well as other expenses like the electric heaters I had to run to keep my house warm when his furnace didn't work. The state Construction Industries Division fined him for his shoddy work. Do NOT ever hire this company. I honestly can't believe they're still in business.

This company installed a central AC system in my house a few years ago. They connected the AC drain line to the PVC drain in the attic and instead of using a T fittinf and hose barb, they drilled a hole through the PVC drain and used tape to hold it in. I didnt have any idea of the situation because it is a good ways into the attic, and found out only because the tape was finally worn out and the clear vinyl hose was in secured and draining water onto the ceiling, causing a leak in my kitchen and damaged sheet rock. This company is a sorry excuse for an HVAC contractor.
