Excellent service, friendly, trying to make sure you're happy with what you get. Several other wineries also represented. Did not try the food.

I was invited to a special Holiday Celebration this year. I was really looking forward to attending with a good friend, but I had never heard of the venue or the location. Turned out, when I looked it up on a map app, I pass by Pasando Tiempo Winery Tasting Room on Alameda / Hwy 528 several times a month. I guess I need to learn to pay more attention. Some of the best places are right in front of you and you don't even see them.I think Pasando Tiempo Wine Tasting Room has been in this location for a year+ and I was just oblivious. Ugh. Think of all the opportunities I have missed. Never again. Nice, new building, but it would be easy to get it confused with the bank that shares the same location. It is a great location, but they need better signage for those of us with tunnel vision. They have an outside patio, but the weather was a little nippy when I was there - next Spring & Summer it will be pleasant and the view across the valley of the Sandia Mountains will be perfect. The Tasting Room is big and modern. with a separate room for special events. The tasting bar was longer than usual, but accommodated everyone who stepped up to order one of their great wines. I was given a taste of the "7 Briks". Oh my, it was delightful. Sweet, but too much. I generally don;t care for sweet wines, except for an after dinner drink . . . but the "7 Briks" was exceptional. Next time, if I can bring myself to do so, I will try their other wines. The NMHWC event was wonderful. The Pasando Tiempo staff were friendly and professional. The wine - - well the PT wine was like a cherry on the top of a great Holiday experience.

What a great little secret. The ambiance is here is outstanding, service was fantastic and the variety of wines substantial. They also offer a selection of mixed drinks. My wife had been here in the past and was encouraging me to drop it and I'm glad I did. There's a food truck available. And tonight was Lov'n J's. Great variety of barbecue and sandwiches. I had the pulled pork fries and would recommend that which will serve 2. Tonight CS Rock Show was playing. A fine trio with a variety of rock and blues music. I will definitely start following this band. A bunch of old guys that can really put out the tunes.

Finally! I finally took the time to stop by. I was the only person there, but don't take that as a bad sign. Quite the opposite, I had 1:1 with Martha. She was happy and pleasant. The place was large, ceilings high and there was plenty of seating at the massive bar and various tables. In the warmer months when the NM wind is not blowing, the outdoor seating is cozy.I came in and sat at the bar. Martha did great explaining all the wines, suggested options I may like. She even convinced me to try their Chardonnay, which generally is not my first choice and actually turned out to be my favorite. Bought a bottle to take home.Chris came in while I was there, the "wine maker" even a sommelier. At this point I'm extra thankful that I'm the only one there. I started asking questions and he was so great! Explaining his love for each season of wine making, explaining how trying different wines was good, our palettes change, we talked about corks, and food pairings and how he doesn't make sweet wine and so much more, in fact so many wonderful topics about wine that I left knowing more than when I entered for a mid-afternoon tasting. I enjoyed his knowledge and honesty & thankful that Martha gave me Chardonnay to try.Sometimes we just have to step out of the box and while we may like a certain wine it's good to try others because like me, you'll enjoy something you didn't think you would. Get your friends and your loved ones or go it alone and visit their beautiful location for local wines and if wine isn't your thing, have a local distillery cocktail or a beer. If you're hungry get a charcuterie board. Friday and Saturday night there's music and food trucks. Extra parking in the dirt lot except when the Christmas trees are there.I'll be sure to return alone and with friends. Highly recommend. Thank you Chris and Martha for a wonderful afternoon.

This place is off the beaten path and sharing a space next door to the title company. If you are driving west on 528 and you reach Rio Rancho, you missed it. This place is adorable starting with their entrance which is a pretty courtyard with a water feature. I can see myself sitting here when the weather gets better enjoying a glass of wine. Then you walk in to their large tasting room with the prettiest chandeliers. We were greeted with a friendly smile by the owner and received excellent service. I had the flight that included Chardonnay, Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Their wines are on the drier side, which I prefer and my favorites were their Chardonnay and the Cab. They also serve beer and cocktails, so my husband enjoyed his old fashioned. The owner mentioned they have food trucks in case you're hungry and they have live music as well. I live on the west side of the city, so I sure am glad they decided to open their tasting room here!

Food was questionable but the music, ambience and service were amazing. It was nice to see so many people the whole experience.

Owner was very pompous. Tried having a conversation about wine with this guy and he started talking down to me treating me like I'm an idiot. Not much of a selection on food. We were presented with a sorry charcuterie board if that's what you wanna call it. The atmosphere was very stale. just didn't have the Mojo. I was looking for to sit back and have a glass of wine. I will never go back to this place.

The wines are good. The atmosphere is excellent. I had a red wine flight. They have additional guest wines, beer and cocktails but the Pasando Tiempo wines were perfect for me today. My husband had the Bosque Scotia beer and liked it a lot as well. I think my favorites were the Meritage and Sangiovese. I also bought a couple bottles of Zinfandel and Spanish Damcer Syrah. We moved to TN and are only on NM for the weekend. Great stop for us.
