This is one the places located inside the Sawmill Market in Albuquerque, NM. Nothing hits the spot better than a paleta for dessert on a warm day. The freezer was full of freshly made paletas. I almost ordered the strawberry but the tried and true one won my heart. I got the strawberry mango paleta. It was so yummy. Maybe next time I should try a different one. Shared parking lot and WiFi.

Loved the paletas. They had a great variety. Not a bad price for 1. $6.75. But I mean it's in a great location. Near by so many other places to try. Went with my Down syndrome cousin and the staff was super patient and sweet with her.

Loved the paletas from Paleta Project. We went to Sawmill on a Sunday around brunch. I noticed the paletas right away but saved them for dessert of course. By the time we went back maybe around 2 or 3 pm more than half of the case was sold out. So if there is a flavor you have your eye on I'd act fast. I got the coffee flavor half dipped in milk chocolate with coconut and drizzled caramel....it was so good! It was the perfect ending to a day of feasting. lol

Stopped by the Paleta Project located conveniently in the entrance of the Sawmill Market in ABQ. They serve one thing and one thing only and that's paletas (or Mexican ice pops). The paletas are all beautiful and look fantastic. They have the option to go kind of crazy and add a whole bunch of toppings to your paleta. However, I decided to stick traditional and got no toppings and chose the strawberry cream flavor. It was great, creamy and fruity it hit the spot on a nice summer day. However, for just an ice pop to go I think it cost like 6 or 7 bucks which was pretty steep in my opinion. Now, it's good but I don't know if it's worth that much hence why I knocked it down a star. The staff are all friendly and made quite a few jokes with us. There was no line so we got our food immediately which was great.

I thought this place was awesome. Price range might be high but it's the sawmill so what do you expect. Great flavors, great add ons. Tasty treats

I got a yummy strawberry cream palette here with chocolate drizzle (they were low on melted chocolate) and shredded coconut. Hit it spot, I like Sawmill, and it was nice to eat on the sunny patio! Several good flavors and topping options. The downside? Too expensive for a paleta, more than other places in town.

We were happy to find this in Sawmill Market, but were greatly disappointed with the paletas. I got my standard, coconut with chocolate dip. The chocolate was too thick, and you really could not eat the paleta getting chocolate and coconut, as big chunks of chocolate broke off. It was also tasteless. The coconut paleta underneath the thick chocolate did not have much taste, and also had lots of ice crystals. I recommend the Pop-Fizz paletas which are fabulous. Look for their mobile truck. (I hope I can say that.) Sorry Paleta Project. Big disappointment.
