Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and this place didn't disappoint on our visit tonite. Our hostess seated us and we were promptly met by the sommelier with a wine list---nice touch with some recommendations. We were mostly cocktail drinkers...call and premium Manhattans and Old Fashioneds (very well done) and one lone wine drinker---Ken Wright Pinot Noir was a good tried and true Pinot that went with most anything. Server was super knowledgeable of the menu and the food entrée preparations--did not miss a beat!We all had apps or salads...butternut squash bisque, Caesar, and a serving of liver mousse. Very nice preps and excellent flavor. For entrees we ordered the swordfish, Cassoulet, the Chicken Quarter and Squid ink pasta. Eclectic with tons of flavor, cool presentations---all great choices. Skipping a second cocktail, everyone decided to order 2 desserts...the Chess Pie and the chocolate mousse cake with salted caramel ice cream. Once again, flavorful and well executed...totally on point from the kitchen tonite! Great job from service to food...we will be back celebrating a special occasion and are looking forward to the new Spring menu!

We got shishito peppers, milk bread and delicious drinks. The service was amazing and they had great recommendations. I got the cucumber Collin's but with vodka and it was delicious. The menu looked amazing and we wished we had time to have dinner there!

The Palace Prime was absolutely delicious. Going in, we were ready to see how its changed, & it did not disappoint. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful, I loved all the decor, colors, & their drinks were beautiful. We ordered the Green Circle Chicken & the Txuleta, both cooked to perfection. Our server was able to answer all the questions we had on the food & gave us options for our mocktails. We will definitely be back for a birthday, an anniversary, or just a night to sit at the bar.

I was a little skeptical at first coming here. Sometimes this "higher end" steakhouses are a rip off. But this was a great meal. Justifying a $75 New York strip is tough, especially coming from NY where a good strip is 45-55. But these guys pulled it off. The steak was fantastic, the drinks were good, and the overall experience was very nice.If you're looking for a nice steak house in the area this is a great spot to try out.

We did what "they" say don't do....go back to a restaurant where you have just had a fabulous experience right away...but we were leaving town and just couldn't without going back to Palace Prime. We repeated some dishes and tried new ones. Soft shell crab and filet. Amazing. Just as good as the first time. Sandra, our waiter, and Austin, the Sommelier, remembered us and treated us like we were regulars. Food, truly outstanding, and service, which makes the experience more memorable, was stellar. This is a Santa Fe MUST.

First off, let me start by saying there are a number of terrific restaurants to dine at in Santa Fe. We've been fortunate enough to eat at quite a few of these establishments. It's a high bar that has been set for us, and we don't take that lightly, or for granted, because we feel very lucky to live in a place that has such wonderful restaurant options to choose from. We had dinner at Palace Prime last night and we were honestly blown away. It was a trifecta of perfection for us: ambience, service and the cuisine. All of which were exceptional. It's a rare occurrence when all three aspects of a restaurant experience are this level of excellence. We were greeted by the hostess who welcomed us with friendly enthusiasm and sat us immediately at a wonderful table. My husband and I got to sit next to each other at a table that allowed us to look out at the interior of the restaurant. Beautiful and interesting artwork adorned the walls, which only added to the ambience. We could see that the restaurant was full, but it wasn't loud, so we could talk with one another easily, without having to raise our voices to hear each other, as is often the case. Our server, Daniel, came to our table, greeting us with the utmost professionalism. He gave us time to look over our menus, told us of the specials, and offered some feedback on some of the choices we expressed interest in. In the end, we ordered, and shared, fresh oysters, tuna tartare and hamachi crudo. Husband had the mushroom pasta and I had the risotto seafood chowder. Christina, who we have dubbed The Angel of Wine, brought her wine expertise to the table so we could choose the perfect bottle of wine for our meal. She did not disappoint with a recommendation of Pouilly Fume. Everything we ordered was a delicacy. The oysters were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The hamachi crudo and tuna tartare were both amazing, though I think the tuna was slightly better than the hamachi, which is really saying something, because both were wonderful. The pasta and risotto were equally as delicious. And, the wine was the perfect bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal. For dessert, I had the sorbet and husband had the Chocolate Bottom Pie. Both were as good as the dinner. When we finished, the Chef, Angel Franco, came out and introduced himself and thanked us for dining at his restaurant. Every aspect of the evening was perfect. We cannot wait to go back!! I hope this review will inspire others to experience Palace Prime for themselves. They will not be disappointed!!

This is one of the best restaurants in Santa Fe. The food is great and exactly as it's described. The service is impeccable. The bar has fun and yummy cocktails and they have a great wine list. And the seating - it's all comfortable. I know that doesn't matter to a lot of people - but it matters to me and I appreciate it. Make a reservation - you won't be disappointed.

This is a steakhouse that caters to both a casual and a sophisticated crowd, which is unique and wonderful. You can dress up for the lounge and bar area or arrive casual. There's a separate dining room if you want a quieter experience Tourists and locals alike will find classic dishes done well. There's a lovely happy hour from 4 to 630 that has some non-typical items like shrimp cocktail, which is refreshing whereas most happy hours offer menu items that are sub par or fried.Service was excellent and drinks were generous. Overall great experience! My biggest thrill was Gouda stuffed olives in my martini! Was a first and am now am obsessed.

Minuscule and over priced servings. Am amazed that this place gets such high reviews. The servings are stingy and are in line with what a small sick bird might eat. Margarita was fine, but give me a break. No value for the money spent.
