Overture Albuquerque

I have an apartment reserved for early September. Overture is brand new construction so nothing is dated. Met with Candice in the sales office twice and spoke with Alyssa multiple times on the phone. Both ladies were top notch. The facilities are beautiful and the complex is in a great location just off I-25 and Paseo de Norte. Many restaurants, Target, Lowes, and just about everything else is in walking distance (mile or less). This should be a great second home while I visit Albuquerque.

My mother didn't live here for long before she passed, but it she was very excited about her move here. The residents were all friendly and very active, socially, and the office staff could not have been more helpful. When Mom passed, they were compassionate and thoughtful and very helpful as we tried to manage things from out of state. They even helped us find a wonderful home for her cat!

We have lived here since it opened. We are in our 80's so we don't G3's involved in very many,of the activities. If, however, you want to have all your activities planned for you, you'll love it here. We have gals responsible for activities and they do a good job at planning a variety of activities for the residents.

The rent is quite high, but seems fair for what is advertised. Problem is that they don't deliver on what is advertised. The standard of construction is subpar. The kitchen cabinet drawers and doors won't open because they are blocked by other drawers. The refrigerator is too large for the opening, it's literally forced into the hole, making it impossible to open the cabinet doors on either side. The bathroom faucets are the wrong size, such that the water pours out on to the countertop, and you can't get your hands underneath the flow of water. The regular parking spaces are microscopic. The compact car spaces comfortably accommodate a motorcycle. The covered parking costs extra. No garages available. The guest quarters were represented to be free. Not. They charge $100/night! The pool and jacuzzi were said to be at 82 and 100 respectively. "The heater is out" is all we're getting. The staff are so friendly, and apparently helpless to actually help the residents on anything.
