Outpost Ice Arenas

Niece loves this ice rink and she is thrilled to have it open for practice & coaching. It was closed for six months & she was miserable. She is thrilled to be out on the ice again. Other skaters looked happy and good on the ice, too. Temperatures are taken when you enter. Staff is friendly. The place is clean, with tables disinfected, & signs on each disinfected table saying so. Also, they have hand disinfectant on each table. The pro shop was closed, but looked nice. The bathrooms were also clean and I loved the mirror sign: "Objects in mirror are prettier than they appear in spite of what society makes you think!"

Hadn't been here in 20 years and over the thanksgiving holiday, had my niece and nephew in town and wanted to bring them ice skating! My goodness has this arena been completely transformed; it's nothing like I recall! The ice and facilities are all well kept, snackbar had many great options and the employees are all very helpful! Can't wait to go back!

They are a very professional and very well oiled business. The staff are very good and have lots of patience teaching all the kiddos! The ice is not bumpy and well maintained. It is a great place for the kids to learn their skills on ice.

This arena was so fun. We caught an Ice Wolves game. The hot chocolate and snacks were great too!

Rink is great, the guy helping with lessons was nice, and the hockey games are SUPURB. Come by and see the NM Ice Wolves in action, take a class to learn to skate, whatever. Just come support Outpost.

Over 100 families signed up for ice skating and were all told it was cancelled after a last minute hockey game. Ridiculous

Love the ice rink manners are great and owners and the New Mexico team but refs are not safe our goalie got there hand in a bloody mess and almost chop his finger off because the new Mexico team rip his glove off which is fine but the refs did not blow the whistle I'm telling everyone that this is not a safe ice rink to play at because of the referees

I would've given a higher rating but, I'm disappointed that they don't have assistive devices available. Hey Outpost ... you have a website! How bout updating it to keep people informed? I would've have driven out here to bring my 5 year-old to skate. Thanks, but no thanks. Sorry. We were so looking to a better experience.

Took my granddaughters there, one was a 1st timer. They had a blast! For $13 per kid was well worth it. The skates we rented seemed new. The only downside is the concession stand wasn't open for open skate on a Tuesday.

They have ice, which is obviously limited in ABQ. Nice setup, but no assistance devices for kids who don't know how to skate - which is basically every kid in New Mexico.
