Patients beware -- STAY FAR AWAY.There's a clear reason they have such open availability. Once you've had the eye exam itself, customer service tanks completely. They don't answer the phone. Ever. It rings twice and goes to voicemail; the voicemail greeting should be a clear indicator of customer service by how dated it is considering it references a pandemic that's been over for years. The voicemail greeting also includes an email address (another indicator that they're never gonna call you back) that nobody must ever check. Forget calling ahead of time to make sure they're open and that your order is ready for pickup, because that is never going to happen. They told me I was paying for a years worth of contact lenses, yet when I went to pick them up, somehow it was only a six-month supply (which included a "free" box that I should have been grateful to have been "given") . Well, there goes the good price I thought I was getting. I should have saved my insurance benefit and used 1-800 contacts, they have far bette pricing and actual customer service. I made the mistake of purchasing what I thought was two pairs for one of my kids. He went to go pick them up and only received one pair. I tried (and failed) repeatedly to call them and clarify, only to be told that he only purchased one pair, which is strange because we took up two to checkout. Zero apologies, took no responsibility for their error. Complete abdication. But then, they had the nerve to ask if I'd like to purchase more contacts or another pair of glasses. I'd sooner schedule my next PAP with Edward Scissorhands.

I was very happy with my experience here. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The doctor I saw was thorough and clearly knows his stuff. I believe I had a quality eye exam and will definitely come back.

Trying to make an appointment here is a nightmare. I was on the phone for about 25 minutes because they couldn't locate my information in the system. When speaking to the front office, everything sounded scripted and they needed me to repeat all my personal information three or four times. Just like pulling teeth. I ended up going to Costco Optical where they will have my business instead.

Poor customer service and technicians need training. Corporate really needs to come to this location and (candidly) see how their staff communicates with clients. I think you would be shocked. This is a high end product, ($500 glasses), and Staff has to be able to accommodate client questions using terms that make sense to lay people without getting rude, sarcastic and dismissive. Crap Service and Rude Tech, utter mediocrity. Problems since my first visit here-at 1st visit, my glass case was returned to me empty.

I'm sorry but I am going to pile on here about Orbit Eyecare. The front desk staff was very nice overall; I thought they went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. My problem was, and is, with the younger Dr Jarrell. In my experience with him he runs wayyyyyyy behind schedule (like, 30-45 minutes) (offering no apology), takes almost no time to evaluate your vision, rushes you through the whole "which one is clearer" part of the exam, spends a lot of time staring at his monitor, and he explains NOTHING about your vision, or a correction plan. Last time I was in he practically threw the contact lenses on the table in front of me and ran past. Accordingly, I put the wrong ones in the wrong eyes. You have to work hard to get his attention while he whizzes by you to his next patient. I've been in twice now, and neither of the contact lens pairs he has given me are appropriate.Like everybody, my schedule is full and I don't have time to sit in his waiting area, only to get rushed through my appointment, and get the wrong lenses, with no explanations, twice. I'm, regrettably, going to be starting over from scratch with another eye doctor.
