Me and my husband stopped by for breakfast. We had the breakfast burrito Christmas style and pancake both were delicious! I would definitely return.

I absolutely love this family owned and operated business!!! They make you feel welcome and the food is awesome! We go here everytime we are in Red River!!! Abby is awesome! Hope you had a fantastic birthday even though you had to work!!! Love the decorations on the inside!

Old Tymer's Cafe is a tiny restaurant located on the main strip in Red River, NM. The service is fast and the Waitress is friendly.If you love pancakes, this is definitely the breakfast spot for you. They have pancakes that are so big, they could possibly win a size contest with a hub cap as an opponent. Be sure to confirm the pancake size before placing your order, you don't want to think you've order a normal size pancake and a huge one is served instead.Food Review:Pancake - giant sized pancake, fluffy and sweet, topped with whipped butter and syrup is delicious.Cheese Omelette with Sausage - omelette with cheddar cheese and chunks of sausage was average. It barely had any flavor.Hash Browns - undercooked, very bland. A sprinkle of salt did make them taste a little better. Wheat Toast - plain toast that you must butter yourself with the stiff, cold butter packets on the table. Talk about hard to spread. It was ok. Nothing to write home about.I hope to be there one day when some actually finishes off one of those hubcap sized pancakes. Too bad it defeated us.

The only consistently good food option in Red River outside of Reds. Best breakfast in the Circle!

We ordered the first breakfast item with all the meats on the menu! I think it was called old timer breakfast. It was so good!!! The sausage and ham were huge. The biscuit and sausage gravy was out of this world!!! The waitress was so nice and attentive! The atmosphere was so cozy. We almost didn't come here bec of the 3.5 stars but decided to try it. So glad we did! It was one of the best breakfast places we've been to!

Food was good, but they automatically charge 18% for a "party" of 6 or more. We are a family of 6; 2 adults with 4 kids ranging 2-11. We ordered two adult meals, 2 kid meals, and a single pancake. I asked about the difference in the bill as our food was $53 before tax, and we were told our total was $68. They would not give us a straight answer, only that's their policy, and "they understand" how that's frustrating even though we didn't order 6 plates of food. Our waitress was decent enough, but automatic tips like this put us off, and we will not be back.

Wife and I came for Pizza at 12:00 pm, the waitress was unfriendly. This is the first biker bar that has no alcohol. We ordered pizza supreme.More to come:Soggy crust bottom,, watery sauce, just okay in my humble opinion.We got our check and the unfriendly waitress charged us $3.00 for tap water. Are you skidding me? I complained about the $3.00 for tap water so they deducted it from our bill.Make sure you check your bill.

Had lunch there and the burgers and pizza were delicious. One person had pizza and we all tasted it and definitely going back for pizza! We went at 1:00 and got seated right away and the service was awesome!

Pancakes as big as your head, delicious coffee, genuinely friendly wait staff - I love this place. I've only ever eaten breakfast here, but I'd love to try their pizza. Grab a window view and people watch, but if you're not here early, be prepared for a wait. I get seated pretty quick before 8am, but after that, expect a 15-30 minute delay.

We had lunch here yesterday and breakfast today. Highly recommend!! Normal people can eat the servings so we shared everything. The pancakes for breakfast were HUGE and fluffy! Very good.
