We live in Las Vegas NV. but came to Old Town Farm to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were overwhelmed at the level of professionalism and personal care we received. David, the chef, really put on a show with quality food and the service and excellent service. Our friends were really shocked that a barn could have such beauty and grace and still deliver a first class venue. Makala decorated the barn with a touch of heaven with lighting and warmth, in January. We came back the next day for breakfast and David gave us the best breakfast ever.

Old Town Farm is nestled in a "rural" suburb of Albuquerque's Old Town neighborhood. This is one of the two oldest neighborhoods in the city with a feel harkening back many decades ago.The farm grows a traditional array of produce, which they sell at the Downtown Growers Market as well as in weekly CSA-style deliveries and pickup. You can also go to the farm on Friday and Sunday mornings to pick out produce you'd like to buy straight from their field. They have other stuff for sale, including honey, eggs, and wildflowers, but for me, the greatest gem is in their weekend Bike In Coffee. For those who don't know, you can bike to the farm and have a casual brunch dining in their beautiful garden. The farm rests along the I-40 Bike Trail, which meets up with the larger Bosque Trail, making it easy to bike in for brunch or a break from your training. You can drive there, too, but biking there is more fun, and that's the point. I mean, how can you go wrong with a place that encourages you to bike into for your coffee and hang out in such a pretty outdoor space? They offer traditional New Mexican dishes, including breakfast burritos, which anyone who enjoys working out knows is the perfect energy boost.Bike In Coffee is closed for their winter break through the end of January so check them out when they re-open in February. The farm used to be focused on horses, but while they are still a part of the farm, the focus now is more on growing produce, hosting events, and offering their bike-in weekend brunches. The farm also offers catering for larger groups on-site, including weddings, and they are known for hosting other types of events, such as small music festivals. A few years ago, I hosted a friend's bike-in 50th birthday party there, and Old Town Farms did an excellent job. They are even featured on the French travel documentary series, Échappées belles, which is aired on TV 5 Monde. I already knew that Old Town Farm was a special place, but this confirms it.

Excellent venue for a wedding or other party. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the area was so elegant. They had a private area for the wedding party to get ready, as well as a huge barn made into a dance hall. Beautiful and peaceful area

This place is so beautiful and the staff are friendly. It's definitely a place I will continue to visit. The food is really good, but I wasn't crazy about the mint drinks. My friend commented that the water tastes weird too. Just a heads up each of their little tacos is $3, but they're delicious! They have these really thick oatmeal cookies which are the perfect reward for the bike ride there.

We stood in the rain for half an hour waiting for a burrito and got up to the window two minutes after 11 and they said we stop serving burritos at 11. Really??? The efficiency is horrible and they need more than one person taking orders. One woman was at that window for literally just under 10 minutes placing an order.

They don't have half the items presented on there menu. Kinda high prices to not have the menu stocked while the food is ok you would be better off biking to el Vado down the street.
