We came in for a late lunch and were immediately greeted and got to choose our own seats. The restaurant is small and intimate-very clean. My hubby and I got combo C to share. The California roll was amazing and the NM roll was my favorite of all sushi I have had. They thought we wanted 2 California rolls but when we explained we only wanted the one with the combo they apologized and comped the cost of the extra roll. Amazing customer service. I only hope next time their Diet Coke isn't out of order. My hubby was a little frustrated with that but the 5 star is because of the rest of the experience!

Finally!!! ... Ramen near me! I've always been a fan of the sushi here - it's good quality, a nice variety, at a good price... and now they have RAMEN! You might think a sushi place in a strip mall isn't ideal but even though it's a bit cozy and can get busy it's worth it. The service is always great, our drinks are always full and I'll always choose this over many others, even across the city.

The sushi was barely average. I won't go back. There are MUCH better sushi places in Albuquerque. It just was bland and not very good. Save yourself. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Sushi was good, NM roll delicious! But Japanese fried rice was the bomb. Great service, filled my cup constantly.

Most expensive sushi I've ever seen. I paid 40 dollars and I'm still pretty hungry. 8 dollars for 2 pieces of salmon nigiri is pretty ridiculous. Looked like most of the specialty rolls were over 20 dollars. I got the ABQ roll, which was actually pretty good, but would've been better if the tempura green chile was in the whole roll. Pretty small portion... here's what I got for 40 dollars. Huge bummer.

Wait staff is very young and has no interest in doing their job. Phone number to make a call ahead order goes to voicemail 4 times. Walk in on a Saturday night. Two couples total in the restaurant eating. Sushi chef sitting down at the sushi bar on his phone. Hostess playing on her phone. Make an order to go (one roll). Wait 30 minutes and ask the status of my to go order. Hostess puts down her phone and checks. Says he's working on my order now (30 minutes later) and he had to finish an order for the couple (who had been there before I ordered) sitting at the sushi bar. Get my refund and walk out. If I were management I would be upset these workers are losing money for the business.

Went here to get some sushi and I had a Rio Rancho roll which was super tasty and large in size. I also had them make a beef steak with onion bento box and it was a treat! I'll be back for more! Great service and kind people here as well.

The food was amazing. We lived in Hawaii for years and the sushi here had more flavor and variety. Service was great and the place was quiet and everyone was just enjoying the food. Get the Captain's Roll, the Hawaiian Roll, and the Gyoza with the sauce that comes with it is amazing.

I'm 50 years old and have walked out of a restaurant twice.... Both times were at the sushi King on Uncer. Owners yelling and fighting the employees, almost went physical with an elder employee. I had to stand up and say something to diffuse him and end up leaving without having eaten. The amount of stress I had from being there was unbelievable. I can however take responsibility for me being there for the second time in the first place. 0 star
