We came in wanting some Sushi, and boy, were we disappointed. We ordered things like Yellowtail and were served fish that was most definitely not yellowtail. They messed up our order, forgot multiple items, and had no drinks besides water the day we came. We should've walked out like many others did when they found no drinks. The food was lacking; this is the worst sushi or sushi experience I have ever had. Gas station sushi is better quality and more accurate. We do not recommend this place. I am honestly surprised we did not get food poisoning as the little fish we ate tasted off and old. We didn't finish anything we got and left after our order finally came out.

This place is ok. It's clean. It's quiet ( a Wednesday evening). My tuna poki bowl, miso soup and jasmine tea were ok. Service was ok. It's almost like they don't care to do more than just be ok. The menu is partially handwritten and obviously corrected a few times. Why not just print out a new menu? The waitress seemed to hint that she was throwing in the cup of miso soup for free because I asked about it, not because that's their usual with a sushi order like other places. My $20 poki bowl was mostly rice. I'm definitely not a fan of the radio station with lots of annoying ads playing the whole time. Meh.

This review is based on very limited experience. I went in for lunch. I ordered vegetable tempura. I asked the waitress if it was a good tempura batter, light crispy batter ..."oh yeah it's the best" she said ... NOT SO! ....it was a big doughy ball, deep-fried... Yes, tempura... No. I suppose that the one that I tasted probably had a piece of vegetable inside, though it did not taste like it. I thought about trying the yellowtail sashimi but for the price I thought "I'm not gonna do this" so I left. Ambience... strip mall, metal tables, and chaires, nothing fancy at all, but would be adequate if the food were good at a decent price.The waitress was pleasant, but I would say probably not knowledgeable about Japanese food. I would definitely not go back.

Came here to check it out. I hope it is good. Not very many customers, maybe because it's late and most people now a days do take out.Ordered deep fried tofu, I was happily impressed. Never had tofu and it was very tasty.Egg rolls are very small but they too taste good. Must say the tokomutsu (I know I butchered the spelling) ramen hit it out of the park!! Wow! Ordered spicy and that was not to spicy, so added more spice but broth was so good!! Service was okay, did not ask for refills, I feel they should always come and ask

We tried to go to dinner tonight and they were busy. We waited over 30 minutes for our order to be taken only to watch them take the orders of people who came in after us before us. We paid for our drinks and left. We love their food and will miss going there for a while. They need more staff but making people of who have been there that long wait longer while people who just came in get their order taken is not ok.

Sushi is good, if you're the type of person who likes to order and be left alone most of your meal this is the place for you. The ambience is nice pretty quiet, at least when I went. I've gone to many sushi places and although this one isn't terrible you can definitely find better bang for your buck elsewhere

Went in today right at opening, more than half of the staff did not show up and the couple who owns Nori were struggling to run it. The older man was very kind and tried his best, his wife was very kind as well.Regardless, food was delicious and out fast. The sushi here is to die for! 4.5 stars :)

Stopped in for a Saturday lunch. It was not busy and the food came out of kitchen quickly. It was all well prepared. The kids love steamed white rice and add soy sauce. The portion was large and quickly gobbled down. The crunchy shrimp was well received, as was the edamame. The miso soup was good and the goyza dumplings were freshly prepared. The fried noodles with vegetables was really delicious. Mandi was our friendly waitress and did a great job serving us , as well as the white bearded gentleman who looked like Santa! This place is tucked away in a strip mall at the top of Southern, just off Unser. So glad we found this clean little gem in Rio Rancho. We will be back.

We placed an order over the phone and went to pick it up. They gave us the wrong order which we didn't know until we got home. They told us to come back in an hour and they'd have our new order remade. They refused to remake the order and refused to give us a credit or refund. And worse, they said we scammed them. Unbelievable. Got the wrong food for half the price we paid and have never had such bad service.
