Recently stopped by while I was in town. The store looked like it was going out of business - lots of shelving was half full and almost nothing on the walls. It just felt sad inside. Did appreciate having some Art Gallery Fabrics in stock, as I usually have to order them online. There as a wide selection of different kinds of fabrics but I am only interested in quilting fabric. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

A small intimate store with a very welcoming and nice owner! I will go back! And, if she doesn't have it in her shop she can get it ordered for you! Good vibe.

I needed a piece of black Dupoini Silk for a project and called to verify they have it on hand. Yes indeed, they have it in stock so I'll pop by to pick some up! So great to have a high end fabric store locally so that you can shop in person.

Quality, community, and knowledge, this was my experience at Nob Hill Fabrics! Liz was 100% polite and helpful, I must have asked her more than a hundred questions! I wish I would have started my project here instead because they are the only store that had the organics I needed. Also, it was fun to see how many regulars came by just to say hi to Liz and check out the latest. Thanks, Liz! My project wouldn't be the same without you!-Mark Kelly

I needed some thread for a project, and I thought it would be handy to go to a nearby store rather than all the way to Joann in the heights. But I had no luck at Nob Hill Fabrics because they only have small spools of thread, which seems kind of crazy if you're really trying to appeal to people who can sew. And the guys who were working there seemed to have no clue what was going on...so much so that my first thought was that maybe this was some kind of front for a different business all together. But on the upside, it was clean and orderly.

Came in on a Saturday. The store is really cute on the inside! I can't speak for how the store was years ago during the management changeover, but I had a really positive experience yesterday.I went in to find lace for my wedding dress. I found something affordable that perfectly matched Not the cheapest if I'm being honest, but I'm very happy with my find. The store attendant was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I will be back to rent time with the sewing machine.

Gorgeous fabrics! At most stores, I have to sift through a lot to find the good stuff, but here I want everything I pick up! The prices are a little high for me, so I'm always a bit tortured. I came in once and looked around while a class was going on. After looking at the class list, I really want to learn how to make custom bras!

I've been a very satisfied customer at Nob Hill Fabrics for a couple of years now. I can't believe that one nasty, and perhaps even slanderous review of this business is the only one you've posted. I know for a fact that some of my fellow customers have posted very positive messages about this Fabric store, yet every month I see these are not showing up as reviews on your site. You cannot possibly claim to provide honest reviewing of businesses if you do not update your records to reflect those changed opinions.

This fabric store is a hidden treasure. The owner, Liz, works hard to carry unique fabrics that will also sell in a market that does not support expensive ones. This is tricky and Liz does a great job. You will find fabrics here that you cannot find anywhere else in NM. If you sign up for the newsletter, you will be notified when new fabrics arrive, when classes will be held and other fiber events in the community. It is a big mistake to think that a locally owned business is going to have the same inventory as a national chain. Why would they?
