Noah's Ark Children's Academy

They claim to be a Christian center, but there is nothing Christian about them. CACFP guidelines are not followed, and children are not getting enough food at meal times. Staff are abusive towards students, and will force children to sleep, will deny food, will make students sit by themselves facing walls for meals. The staff do more yelling than redirection. The safety of the students is a concern when it comes to the play ground equipment, with things being broken and rusted. The water scalds even the adults. Teachers will force children to sleep during rest time, and will sleep themselves during rest time. Infants will be swaddled, left in bouncer chairs, and turned to the walls while they sleep. Infants will be put in cribs to keep them out of the way. They would not be a 5 star center of they weren't licensed through NECPA, and didn't have friends who "owe them favors" at the licensing board. Online trainings are just used to follow requirements, and are not followed through with. They require staff to be in school for early childhood education and do not provide assistance, and require staff to submit all scholarships they are planning on getting. They get upset if you already have an undergrad degree and don't want to get another 4 year degree opting to get a masters instead. Management is terrible and doesn't work on solving issues, only sweeps them under the rig by moving around staff. They use "at will employee" status as a threat.

Our child is going to this daycare for 9 months and I would recommend the daycare to others as well. She's happy in there, likes her teachers and is prospering. Staff is responsive and communicates well. This place is getting too much of bad rep, but they don't deserve it.

Update 7/17/2021:I exchanged my son with his father on Friday 7/16/2021 perfectly fine fed,clean in good health and happy at around 10:05 am in a public place and (I also have a photo of my son happy and healthy minutes before exchanging him to his father.)The daycare is on the other side of town as well.I get the info that my son was hurt around 3pm.A report was made by The daycare providers at 10:17 am that my son had injuries to one of his eyes and that I had done it to him.so now I'm being accused of hurting my child by the daycare in a time span of 16 minutes from a photo of my son in my care happy and healthy no marks exchanging with his dad to 16 minutes into Noah Arks care.7/1/2021:From refusing to give me incident reports .... Two refusing to release my son to me ... to Reporting my review on Facebook to get it deleted.Geannine and her staff are absolutely unprofessional! I have a custody agreement for my son that he is only to go to a certain daycare his dad put him in noah's arks care without my permission I have been alienated by Jeannie and her staff when it comes to my sons well-being in Their care . When my Son first started there he would come back to me with bruises and scratches all over his body. That's when I found out that he was moved out of the daycare that we agreed on to Noah's Ark. Geannine and her staff refused to give me incident reports unless they go through dad first. Then after me complaining they started to email meThe incident reports weeks after they had happened. I let them know that I wanted the incident reports the day of or at the end of the week when they happen not a month later. Now I get an email from geannnie saying that she will not send me incident reports on my son once again alienating me from the daycare.My sons dad is the one who uses daycare ,I don't so if it were up to me he wouldn't be in their care.When my son is getting injured and or injuring other children I have the right to know.DONT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! They do not respect custody agreements nor do they properly care for children with special needs . My son has an IEP and they didn't take it into consideration whatsoever last year during Covid my son missed two semesters of school because of the daycare not informing dad that they have a program that could help my son attends APS classes to keep up-to-date with his IEP. definitely one of the worst daycares !!! My sons IEP also says that he is not to be out of arms reach of a teacher because of his disability. Yet my son is able to get into mischief and receive multiple incident reports in one day and now I'm being told I won't receive any unless dad tells me my son gets injured.. we use A parenting app that I've been asking him for months to send me the reports but he does not . So in other words if my son gets hurt at this daycare I will have no idea.. also my custody agreement says that I get my son every other Friday at 10 AM .. when I went to the daycare to pick up my son Geannine refused to follow my custody order and wouldn't release my son to meUntil his dad went and signed him out of school even though it was legal in my time and that is illegal to do you can Google it for yourself.. Janine also told me over the phone the reason she doesn't want to send me incident reports because I called Cyfd on the daycare and my son received injury and I received no incident reports also Geannine invited me in to go see the facility during Covid and when I did go I was denied access by One of the girls at the front desk ....JUST DONT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE!!!UPDATE I made a review on their Facebook page and they took it down!!!! This has BAD BUSINESS Written all over it!!!!!!!!! Good thing they can't delete Google reviews or Yelp..
