Moved here from Florida and was looking for a Yoga studio in the area. I have been practicing for 14 years so I'm pretty particular about studios. Visited Nirguna and was so impressed that I immediately took a monthly pass. The studio has been remodeled and is immaculate and super hygienic. My three teachers - Kendra, Amy and Jordan - have a wonderful technique and their dialogue is inspiring. This studio has my highest recommendation.

I just took a class here with Cathy and it was amazing. The heat was delicious and Cathy was such a great instructor. I loved the facility, it was clean and open. I highly suggest taking a class here, you won't be disappointed!!

OH MY GOSH! Great studio! I have rediscovered Nirguna. Hadn't been in a few years just because it wasn't the closest studio to me, but I loved it when I went and I love it possibly more now! They are true to yoga practice and I feel like you don't only get the physical practice of yoga but also the mental engagement and some history and background. I am super interested in more than just the physicality of yoga but also the philosophy of it as a whole. Instructors often use the sanskrit words for poses in class (not only, but throw it in there more than I see at a lot of studios), they help guide you into deeper practice within poses and give you options. I love the studio. I feel like it isn't all about the modern view of hot yoga and feel a lot of yoga classes I go to these days are just about the workout or getting a wild cardio burn and have lost the meaning of yoga practice. There is definitely a time and place for all of that, but I love that that isn't the goal at this studio. Instructors are great! 10/10 recommend.-They do have showers-Yoga teacher training available-As of writing this review 8/2024 they can be found/used with Fixmix

This is hands down the best hot yoga studio in Albuquerque. A yogi friend of mine recommended it to me and I am so grateful. It is unlike any yoga I have I ever practiced, extremely challenging mentally and physically. I leave feeling deeply detoxed and replenished at the same time. They are supportive of beginners as well and anyone looking to deepen their practice. The owners have studied and practiced around the world. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Ben and Kendra are beautiful humans, and they have a genuine passion for teaching yoga. Real yoga - not only asanas, but yoga philosophy as well. They are real yoga teachers, which is hard to find these days. Highly recommend if you like hot yoga.

Best in Albuquerque! I've been following Kendra from studio to studio for years, and I was so happy to hear she and partner Ben opened their own studio. She has studied with the contemporary greats of yoga, and is my favorite teacher I've ever taken classes from. She makes a point to observe every individual in class, encouraging, challenging, and pushing us when we need it and as per our own unique needs. The studio is beautifully renovated, and Nirguna seems to be attracting a community of kind, friendly, mutually supportive people. That's a nice bonus! If you've never done hot yoga, it can be intense but don't let your first class experience scare you away. I had a rougher time than most adjusting back into it after a long hiatus - it took me six classes to get to a place where I wasn't struggling through it. But now I'm hooked, it truly is an intense and rewarding work out for the body, mind, and spirit.
