New Mexico Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic

I love the staff and personalized care I receive here. I bring my three year old and I feel really good about the staff. I tried Duke City once and I walked out. Not a good experience. I felt like a number at Duke city but here at New Mexico Urgent Care I feel heard and don't have a wait.

I appreciate that they gave me the ekg test I requested and that the staff who did my intake was kind (the only reason I'm giving a second star), but the primary nurse was incredibly dismissive and uninformed. If I hadn't already had an understanding of my health issues and symptoms, her gaslighting would've steered me away from the information I needed to continue seeking treatment.

Came here after another urgent care cancelled my appointment for a rapid test and I was able to get in the next day. They apologized for running behind and were so nice about it (when I had called the day before, I was a little bugged my appointment was cancelled at another one and had mixed up this office with them, so I wasn't as friendly as I should've been on the phone. I apologized profusely once I realized my mistake). The swab was so quick and shallow that I asked if it was already over (while I had watched the young teen in the car next to me sweat, squirm, and gag). You stay in your car for the test, paperwork, and results (which are ready in less than 15 minutes). They take most insurances and the test is free with insurance. 2021 #92

Closed an hour (7:00pm) earlier than posted hours (8:00pm) today Thursday July 17, 2023. They did not let me know this was the case when I called 25 minutes prior; in fact, it was stated during my call that they would accept their final patients at 7:30pm which was quite a bit after I arrived and was turned away.

Excellent care, super fast. Duke City only takes appointments. Their loss. This plase was great.

Don't go there.!!!! My daughter and I have been there and we both ended up having to go someplace else. The Dr seemed to be clueless. Sent me away and said it will get better on its own...I couldn't hear!!!! This has happened before and the doctor always fixed it but not this doctor. Don't waste ur time going here.

First time coming here and I came right before closing so I was afraid I wasn't gonna be seen. It's definitely a small place so I can see waiting for a bit if it was busy but no one was there when I got there and I was seen by the physician in 10 minutes. Front desk was super nice and I had no complaints.
