We researched several Legal Services that handled Estate Planning and Wills and Trusts, and The New Mexico Legal Group located in Albuquerque, NM was exactly the place that had all of the answers and gave us the peace of mind that all of our decisions were just the right ones. Our Attorney, Samantha Day, was so patient, helpful, and knowledgeable about the process of establishing the right Wills that were perfect to meet our needs. The value for what we received could not be beat. From the time we began utilizing this Law Firm we were sent a " Welcome to the Family " letter. Outstanding!!

This law firm advertises themselves as a family law group. Unfortunately I was assigned to Mark Pustay. He has very little experience in family law and it shows. I would only recommend him to my worst enemies. Keep searching and do not make the mistake I made by hiring him. I hired an actual experienced certified family lawyer and there is a big difference. You can shear a sheep multiple times, but you can only skin a sheep once Mark.

CHECK EVERY BILLING STATEMENT. EVRY TIME. This is the first negative review I have ever left. I initially started working with NMLG in 2020, out of Albuquerque. I felt like that attorney represented me not perfectly, but well. After COVID when in person hearings became necessary I had to switch to a local attorney. The previous attorney told me that if I switched within the practice then he would go over the entire case history and bring that attorney up to speed. From the beginning of the relationship, I felt like the second attorney did not care about the years of case history, or the relevant facts of the case. In our first hearing, as the judge was making a ruling, I asked my attorney to clarify a question and she refused, while we listened to the opposing counsel ask several questions that were not even relevant to the hearing. After that hearing, I told that attorney to not work on my case any more and to file to be removed from the case. She did not - and continued to work and bill me for time spent working on the case, even though I had asked her to stop. I started reviewing this with the billing department 45 days ago and they still will not resolve the matter. They have billed me approximately $2,000 after I fired them. They refuse to address it, even though I have spent over $60,000 with them in the last 3 years. I would not recommend working with this firm.

My children were in much greater potential danger with the outcomes I would have ended up with the assistance of the attorney at New Mexico Legal Group. I should have just taken her initial advice to do all of the documents myself as I had learned in my paralegal studies. They took all my savings and left me in a worse off position with my four daughters. They charge four times the amount of comparably better attorneys.

I have, and will recommend New Mexico Legal Group to all. I was blessed by having the team of Emma Whitley, and her knowledgeable paralegal Desiree Pena. My divorce wasn't easy by any means, and nor was I an easy client. I expect excellence from myself; and those around me. That is what this team is, accurate and precise. The divorce was complicated due to assets and retirement benefits. I know that the expertise and knowledge that was given to me, represented my best interest at all time. And yet, fairness and compromise was also presented for our best outcome. I personally had a lot of questions, and Desiree always responding in timely manner; and was professional. Desiree went far above and beyond, to work with me. She showed great compassion, and yet has nerves of steel. New Mexico Legal Group, was worth every penny....Emma W. The New Mexico Legal Group handled my divorce this past month. They went out of their way to take care of me. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional team to help with your divorce.

In 2021 I filed for divorce. I looked for recommendations and couldn't find any that I thought were real. But I figured I would go with a large law firm because they had more people. Since then I paid them over $25,000. I am posting a picture from the court of the only things they filed. My suggestion if you're looking for an attorney is to really check.btw, still not divorced but I now hav excellent attorney.

Janine Caller was Excellent and extremely professional in the handling of my custody case in family court. Her along with Jessica Manzanares were on top of everything and constantly kept me well informed and took a lot of worry off my shoulders. If you need a family court lawyer I recommend 100%.

I would not recommend New Mexico Legal Group. My ex-husband and I used them for our legal separation. We paid them all of the fees and met with them. A few years later I contacted them with a question about the document that they drew up. No one would help me unless I paid them more money for another legal consultation (it doesn't matter that they were already paid for the document I was inquiring about), and whoever answered the phone was extremely rude. They do not care about their clients and it is all about the money for them.
