The receptionist was almost rude in her demeanor, as if she didn't like her job, me or something. It's a good thing that people's insurance sometimes restricts where they can receive care, as I would have gone over to Presbyterian Hospital based upon that 10 second communique. The medical assistant was very warm and interesting to visit with. The cardiologist was amazing informative and knowledgeable. However, I was told that my condition required an additional procedure. I received a call three days later to schedule the procedure. The test was scheduled about 9 weeks out. In my prior experience with Ascension Saint Vincents in Florida, I was accustomed to getting tests and procedures within a few days, perhaps a week, but not 9 weeks out. Do I called the office twice leaving a message and expecting a return call to answer my questions. Nothing. So I then attempted to reach them again via the MyChart/ EPIC portal. Crickets...Perhaps Presbyterian is similar, I do not know. I can hardly wait for socialized medicine to get here... 9 weeks will be 9 months...

The doctors here are all very professional and knowledgeable. I have had gray experiences with Dr. Bestarrows, Dr. Kunz. And Dr Moaz Mazel.They do procedures here that can't be done at UNMH. The OR is state of the art.

My experience over several years can be expressed as Great. Our (my husband and me) medical providers are/have been thorough, listen well, explain options and situations with checks to make sure we understand and to answer any questions we have. Overall: very good care across various types of situations. Dr. Sopko is top notch (my doc, and a consulting doc for one of my husband's situations). Dr. Brown is engaging and candid. We appreciate how he balances current health status with options (benefits and risks) available to the patient; patiently answering questions and discussing patient concerns. Other providers in the office are terrific, too. Device maintenance personnel, supporting medical staff, and many of the receptionists. Yes, there could be some better signage for which registration desk is the right one for each patient (or maybe have one registration desk?), but the quality of care across the different types of care is terrific. Best place the state, and possibly the region.

The chair arms are disgusting and so dirty you can write your name. They are filthy. I have been in 2 separate waiting areas and can't believe this would go unnoticed. I have taken pictures.

Beware! If you go to this office for an outpatient visit you will be charged an additional facility fee because this building is on the same property as the Heart Hospital. Ardent has applied a little know policy that allows them to charge this outragous fee to you and the insurance companies. My 5 minute outpatient visit was billed at over $800 and this is just wrong. When you sign in for a visit one of the documents has a area to initial that you agree to this additional fee write REFUSED in that area and retain a copy. Then file a complaint. Seek care elsewhere although sadly our community doesn't have many options. The care provided was substandard

Hello Senior Management, you've got a problem.My Dr. Office sent in a referral 8 weeks ago. We were told that Heart Hospital would contact us. Nothing, so Dr. Office re-sent the referral two weeks ago. I called and spoke to the referral dept. I was told, are you ready for this, that the employees in that department, have 'no way to search by name or dob, that there are "2000 referrals in their system, and we have to click on every one, open it, and search for the name/dob you've provided me." SERIOUSLY?! I'd love the Senior Leadership at Heart Hospital to explain this. The patient being referred is in severe and chronic resting pain. A friend whose mother had the same symptoms, and the same 'no response' from Heart Hospital on her referral, was finally taken to their ER. They admitted her and did the necessary surgery that the referral requested. So that is the choice? Be lost in a sea of 2000 referrals, or show up to the ER? Can someone, anyone in Senior Management respond? Please!!!!

They charge Medicare patients a "facility fee " in excess of $200 after billing the insurance $431. That is to pay for using their office. DONT GO THERE!I was sent to the wrong hospital for blood work. I was scheduled for left carotid artery surgery instead of right. They informed me that my insurance was canceled ( it was never canceled) although my surgery was done and approved by Molina Medicare. Tried to bill me $65,000 because of their error.I'm 68 and had major surgery but this clinic has caused me so much stress that I'm back to smoking.They are ruining my life!!I cannot go to my post op appointment because of the facility fee billing.

Just wanted to say a big thanks and let the world know how professional Dr. Nair and Dr. Hoskings were in treating my friend Belinda D. These two professionals went above and beyond to make sure everything was seen to and taken care of.They did not leave a stone unturned. This is not the care we are used to, it almost seemed to good to be true! But it all was true! They both kept us in the loop at all times. The before surgery, during and recovery we're all to the highest standards with no shortcuts taken, super kind, friendly and most of all knowledgeable and professional!We really appreciate you guys, we needed someone like you both to correct this overlooked critical situation.
