Netherwood Park

They do a food truck Wednesday during the warmer months (evenings) which is super fun. They have live music and a handful of food trucks so you can grab a bite and hang out in the grass to enjoy the tunes. I went with a friend and we enjoyed some lamb and fries from Donner Kabob. Probably wouldn't order that again but still not bad. They also had Kimo's Hawaiian, a crepe truck, and frozen custard. I had a lavender frozen custard after dinner which was super good but definitely a little pricey. $6 for two scoops, $7 for three. There is a ton of parking and it was nice to just sit on the grass. Lots of people there with their families and dogs. The sunset was gorgeous and a great view of the mountains.

Very large picturesque park! It's a destination park for lots of pet owners and families. No matter how busy it is, you can always find nice quiet spots to relax. Easily one of the bigger parks in Albuquerque.It is extremely well maintained no matter the season. It has some of the best views of the mountains and the skyline. Locals tend to call the park "pregnant park" because of the large hill in the center. It's perfect for rolling or sledding down. It's also perfect for kites because of several sq feet without trees. For some reason, this park continues to be a hidden gem for locals only. It's truly a place to be experienced!

Lovely sprawling green grass park that's dog friendly and has areas of shade with a panoramic view of the Sandias. What more could you ask for?

great park, has a reall nice bluff out on it, lets you get way up above 1/2 of the park. fun summer food truck wednesdays too.

This park is just off of Indian School Rd, kind of catty corner to the UNM North Golf Course. It's not busy & the grass is lush. There are plenty of shady spots to rest & the rest if the park is great for exercising your dog. Perfect place for an early picnic before the deadly heat of midday!

Is this dog poop hill? Clean up after your pets. Other than that the view is beautiful if I could sit on the grass
