We decided to take a trip up to the museums on Museum Hill on a Saturday. I'd never been to the cafe and it was close, so decided to give it a try around brunch/lunch time. It was definitely a busy time, but we got seated promptly and our service was great. Our server was great about refilling coffees and waters and checking up on us despite how busy things were.I got the corn custard, not really knowing what to expect but it sounded good and it did not disappoint. It was like a corn-based squishy quiche with some peppery sauce. Delicious! If I'm up here again I'll definitely go back to try more items. It's a nice place with some southwestern decor and just fun. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Though be careful since it's the only place nearby the museums it can be quite crowded at times.

Nice cafe nestled on Museum Hill. Ample seating, nice front of house. Place was buzzing just after noon, but not so much that should have affected our service. Took the host to notice that after being there 10-minutes, no servers had approached our table. We decided to just get drinks and share some nachos. Both were good. Probably won't be back.

After strolling through the museums, we needed a break so stopped by the Museum Hill Cafe. The outside patio was nicely covered and there was a pleasant breeze. The crowd had died down by 2, earlier when we passed by, it was very loud and crowded. Service was a bit slow but they were all nice. I got the corn custard and it was delicious, sort of like a soft quiche with peppery poblano sauce that had a tiny bitter spicy kick to it. I loved the sauce so much, I used it for the salad as well. The salad and the dressing was ok.

I enjoy going to the museums up on Museum Hill and I always like to get a bite to eat at the restaurant snuggled between the Folk Art and Indian Arts & Culture Museums. A great place for a relaxing afternoon. On a nice day, the best seating is on the patio. The food is always good with a tempting selection. Don't miss the dessert tray brought to your table by efficient waiters who offer the best service.

If you're in Santa Fe checking out museums and go to Museum Hill, this cafe is a great place to stop and have lunch. They open at 11:00 and get busy quick. So reservations maybe needed. Service was good and atmosphere was nice as me and a friend had the window to see the snow fall as we had lunch. Plenty of seating, music and temperature was good and comfortable. The menu is not filled with a lot of choices but, has a good variety. Description is a little off, so make sure and ask if not sure. I ordered the grilled eggplant, with roasted peppers and pesto, cheese with French bread. As I was expecting it to not be a sandwich, that's what it came as. It was delicious as it was put together. Came with a salad with just greens with dressing. As someone who likes to treat myself, this seem to be a little pricey for what I got. Now, it is in Santa Fe so I get the ritzy hype but come on, the ingredients and how it's prepared shouldn't gouge customers. The desert I tried was chocolate pie that was delicious and rich, few bites were good as it was shared.

My experience was just so so. The food was nothing to rave about. The service was extremely slow. The ambience outside is lovely though. I'd be willing to give another chance simply for the lovely patio and for a good glass of wine.

Efficient and friendly service. We didn't feel rushed, and had a pleasant and leisurely meal. Good for food lks who are gluten free. The mushroom taquitos were a tasty vegetarian surprise. My lentil salad was also tasty, pretty close to how I make it at home. Hubby had the reuben sandwich, which he liked very much. The gf bread had a texture similar to regular sandwich bread, with good flavor. As a committed foodie, I highly recommend!

The best museum cafe ever. 2 miles from the Santa Fe Plaza in the center of the old town is the Museum Hill Cafe, with some of the best views of the city down below. You can take a free shuttle from the plaza to the cafe. Before the pandemic. We drove up, with huge parking lots below the cafe. Checked out the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, and Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, both within walking distance, and then stopped by here for lunch. They are only open for lunch Tuesday-Sunday, closed Monday. Wife ordered the $14 poblano quesadilla, and I ordered the $13 chicken tostada. The poblano quesadilla came with 4 quarters of flour tortilla filled with spicy green chilis, onions, cheese, rice and greens, with picco de gallo , sour cream, and guacamole sauces on the side. Would not have been enough for me, but perfect size serving for the wife, who loves the spicy hot green chilis. The chicken tostada came with chopped cubes of grilled white chicken, lettuce, pinto beans, cheese cooked over a corn tortilla, topped with slices of guacamole, with spicy sauces on the side. Excellently presented, and good portion size. Would come again for this dish alone.$4 off with lunch with our North American Reciprocal Museum Card.Afterwards we walked to the Museum of International Folk Art, the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art, and the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian, all on Museum hill. This was the best museum cafe that I've eaten at. Not saying much as I've only eaten at the San Jose tech museum, the Ellis Island museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, none known for their cafeteria food.

One of the worse meals I have encountered in Santa Fe. Would not recommend anyone go there. Overly salty ingredients (hiding inferior product?), mediocre service, way too tightly packed a dinning room, and - honestly - way overpriced for what it was. When will restaurants learn - do not charge "going rate" when you are slopping stuff out of a microwave onto a plate. The Museum Hill "Cafe" might as well just do a quick Uber Eats from the closest fast food restaurants. I could not be any worse!!!

Took a visiting friend to the Museum Hill Cafe this afternoon for her first meal in Santa Fe. We sat outdoors and the ambiance was nice with piano in the background. We ordered very tasty main dishes and our usual ice teas with lemon. The drinks arrived without straws. When I asked for the straws, I was told, "we no longer provide straws." I asked why. The waitress replied curtly, "environment." When I expressed displeasure, she replied rudely that I "could bring my own straws the next time." I know policies change but this was ridiculous heading in the direction of insulting. When we finished our meal and paid the bill, I deducted $5 from my tip for each missing straw and made a note to choose from other restaurants for friends on their first visits to Santa Fe.
