What a mistake hiring this outfit. Was recommended by my landscape provider to test my well to see if it's capable of handling my sprinkler system. Was told by the landscaper that if the well has the capacity and the pump is the right size they would make the transition to the well. After 3 hours the workers from Murray say they could only get 30 lbs pressure and it appeared as if the system wouldn't pressurize. They couldn't tell me if it was the well casing or the pump. Hello! That's why I hired them, to tell me exactly that. The landscaper couldn't believe that's what they told me and said he'd stop recommending them. This 3 hour cluster cost me $400+.

I am writing this review PRIOR to our well even being completed, knowing full well this company will likely delay the project even further. But if it prevents one person from experiencing what we've experienced, so be it. I contacted this company in October to dig our well, I was told we needed to make a 1500 dollar deposit and we would be put on the schedule. I asked her if we could have a place on the schedule and make the deposit when we received the first draw from the bank. Robin, the manager, said that would be okay. At that time they were 15-18 weeks out (which is ridiculous to begin and should have been a bright red flag, but the construction process is difficult and already being overwhelmed, I ignored it. MY BAD) We got our draw and made a non-refundable deposit in January thinking our well would be installed in Feb. Mid-February I called to ask when our well would be installed and she informed me they were 6 weeks out. By that time we were stuck as we had made a non-refundable deposit. That should have meant our well would be installed by March. Beginning in March, she informed us it would be 2 weeks, our well was finally dug in late May.In May, when the well was being dug, it was revealed there was no place for the well equipment, no was there power installed for the well. Unbeknownst to us, the house was built for sewer and city water. This was not revealed to us by the builder, the plumber, the electrician, or the draftsman and we had no idea. Meaning there was no power to the well, another delay that could have been resolved in FEBRUARY, prior to framing, sheet rock stucco being installed. Robin and Murray are now using this as the single excuse for the fact that our well, took an entire EIGHT MONTHS to be installed from when we were put on schedule. I'll give them the benefit of the last 2 weeks the well didn't have power... even though they received the plans almost a year ago (which she denies as if that absolves the company of any liability) and could have informed us before breaking ground... even though this could have been handled and finished in February had they installed the well in even remotely any reasonable period of time. Now finally the straw that broke the camels back. We submit for the most recent draw fro the bank, because the well isn't complete, they denied the paying the well. I called this morning to request they accept payment via the final draw, so I could just finish the house and WITHOUT THE WELL EVEN BEING COMPLETE, she informs me she will be filing a lien. I inform her I will be writing this review every possible place I can and she has the audacity to suggest I am in the wrong. I hang up on her and she calls me back to insult me and accuse me of this being a pattern. She said "You've had nothing but problems with all your subs" Aside from my gripe about the issue of the well/septic not being present on the plans and all subs missing it until 5 months after we broke ground I'm very pleased with all subs.Be very careful with this dishonest company. I fully anticipate a lien being placed on my house for this, even though they have yet to complete the well, or send me a final invoice.

Murray Drilling is a high quality, responsive, and a pleasurable team to work with for my well needs. I have had a well for 30 years and as everyone who has a well, there are times when you need service. Recently i called them to help me out from an irrigation manifold that i tied into the main charge line to the house that was leaking. Though this may not have been in their charter, they came out immediately and repaired the system. The team was professional and very experienced. My wife had called other plumbing/landscaping and well services and they told us it would be weeks before they could come out and inspect. Murray Drilling, their spot on field service, and their office coordinators were outstanding-i could not have asked for anything more from them-thank you!

I reached out to Murray Drilling with questions regarding a potential home purchase. The well had run dry at the property and after calling several community water services only to be told they don't service the area I reached out to the Murray team for well drilling advice. Robin replied to me in less than 12 hours. Even though they don't service the area of town where the home was Robin still took the time to pull permits and gather a huge amount of helpful information -- several residents have had multiple wells run dry in that neighborhood. Murray Drilling went above and beyond to help us without any strings attached. We are from out of state and this information was invaluable to us in determining whether or not to make an offer on this home. We didn't -- thankfully! Also the Yelp messaging option was super convenient. Thanks again Robin!!
