So I showed up 30 minutes before they even opened but yet here I sit on a beautiful patio enjoying a home made pastie and a Guinness the only thing I'm bummed about is I will be missing out on the "real" meal served in about an hour and it smells heavenly

We were pleasantly surprised with the great food and atmosphere at this small town pub. Awesome food and the dessert was outstanding, do not miss it. A fun place to drop by while you're on the road or staying near or around Alpine Arizona

What a real treat! Been around for years but never stopped, glad we did! Had a draft beer and some great sliders, potato skins, Irish pastie and the dessert!! Super clean, fun bar restaurant with fantastic food! Check them out on FB to see when they serve specials like Sheppards pie, and other Irish foods! Well worth the drive between Alpine and Springerville! Make your way there to try them!

Mulloy's; this remote diner used to be enjoyable, as all these reviews from two years ago indicate. Our recent visit was a total disappointment. The food came out lukewarm on a cold plate. The meat was dry and the veggies were clearly canned. The wait staff never checked up on us (there were only five tables of customers in there and four wait staff), never brought our bread, never refilled our drinks, and brought us frozen pie for dessert. When we gave our feedback to the manager, she couldn't have cared less, as indicated by her attitude and her response of, "Ok". What a shame...half a tank of gas spent to get out there and a very disappointing meal with inferior service. It's the second subpar meal we've gotten there, so not gonna take another chance on this diner.

This is by far one of the best places to eat at in the white mountain area for the price and quality. They have a dinner entree that changes every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 4pm-9pm (check the Facebook for the new menu every weekend). It's $14 for the entree which includes a salad, soda bread and dessert of the day. If it's a sandwich like the Reuben, then it's $13 and it does not include soda bread. Starting off the salad with balsamic vinaigrette and soda bread was a sign it was going to be a great meal. The soda bread was a little cold but the butter still went on smoothly. Main course of bangers and mash was excellent with an amazing beef and red wine sauce. For dessert I had the choice of a apple cake with caramel sauce or I think it was Bailey's pie in a cup. If you pay with card they have an iPad so the staff can do it quickly at the table. Located in Nutrioso, it is right off of US 180/191, the restaurant itself is nicely decorated and a comfortable space.

The salad was fresh and the cucumber poppy seed dressing was good. This being Saturday, we had the Irish tacos, shredded pork with toppings, delicious. Desert was Guinness cake or lemon bars, both were homemade and left me wanting for more. They only serve dinner on the weekends, and only one dish each night. I'll be going back Friday to sample their shepherd's pie and Sunday for corn beef and cabbage.

Let me tell you about Mulloy's, the click is in the house. Never really been able to eat at this place after two attempts. The first attempt we arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon for a late lunch. Walked up and got dirty looks from the patrons playing corn hole. We walked in and no one was seated and there were two women talking. They gave us dirty looks and we waited to be seated. Then the two women walked away. I politely said hello and the one lady snapped at me. I said are you open, she says yes but no food. Well in my opinion, ya ain't open then. We left and went to Bear Wallow. Our second attempt we went in one evening and there were a few couples eating, we asked to be seated and the waitress got an attitude with us. We got up and left. I see they had to close for winter, I'm sure if they improved their service they wouldn't have had to close.I'll be shocked if this place ever opens again. If you ain't part of the click you ain't gonna get served....

Great traditional Irish pub right here in the White Mountains of Arizona! Might be the nest Ruben I've had since I was in Ireland! Great deck to watch the sun set.
