Since the quarantine was finally easing up it was time to get my hair fixed. I made an appointment with Ariel at Moxi for a consultation since what I was looking for was pretty complex and I was a new client. They were able to get me in right away. Ariel was sweet and welcoming and put me at ease. As we talked she listened closely. She took some time looking at my hair and asked a few clarifying questions and then got to work. She brought me color samples to look at and talked to me about toning the blonde and if I wanted cooler or warmer color. Once she was satisfied with the understanding of what I wanted she went to get Shannon, the owner. They discussed the application, technique, product, time, etc. They quoted me an estimate that was complete and frugal and we made an appointment for the actual application.I went in on the 19th for my appointment with great excitement. After having my temperature taken and washing my hands we got down to business. Ariel clarified a couple of things then went to mix the first round of color. What I want is hard to explain, difficult to maintain, and certainly not easy to do well. Ariel made it seem like a cakewalk. The red on top and blonde balayage is not an easy application and she had to clean up a little from the previous time it was done. She hit it out if the park. With help from Shannon to speed the application process along, she gave me exactly what I was looking for. The colors and tones are spot on and the look is exactly what I was going for. Also, because of the products they use my hair is still soft and healthy and smells amazing! I would highly recommend Moxi and Ariel to anyone in need of a great style!

I called for a next day appt and Meghan was absolutely amazing! She was able to book my apt no issues and even followed up with a text on advice where to park. The salon is beautiful, the staff was very warm and friendly. Hayley was my stylist and she is an angel. So sweet! Genuinely one of the best haircuts I've ever received in my life! She also showed me how to style it as she was doing my blow out. I've received so many compliments on my hair! Highly recommend!!!

Brittney and Stryker turned my hair from orange to beautiful beach blonde. Their attention to detail and ability to work so well together was truly an art. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process and trusted them both. During my consultation, Brittney listened to exactly what I wanted and had excellent ideas for how to get me the coloring that I was hoping for. She also never made me feel bad about my terrible decision to do a box dye which caused the orange mess to begin with (an experience I had at another local salon). Finally, the entire vibe of the salon feels very friendly, inviting, and there is a real sense of familial love between all the stylists. Also, when I was initially freaking out about my orange box dye hair, Jerome was so helpful in getting in touch right away, asking me for photos, information on the dye, and what my intended look was. He passed along the info ASAP and got me booked for a consult right away. I am so glad I found Moxi and will definitely be back!!!

Amazing! I have curly long hair. If it is not cut properly the shape and weight can be daunting. Hailey did a fabulous job. My hair looks awesome and falls perfectly wether styled straight or naturally curly. Looking forward to my next visit

Michelle Lite moved here from Project Luxe and she is still beyond excellent.I'm not a fan of the line of shampoos/conditioners they use, but the color line is awesome. Word to the wise, it's definitely pricier by quite a bit than it was at Project luxe. Luckily, I can afford it right now, but it might not be feasible to keep up with in the future. I highly recommend Michelle and the owner, Shannon!

Krystal was amazing! My daughter wanted colored "racoon tails" and she really took the time to make her feel seen, heard and made sure she got exactly the results she was looking for. The vibes of the salon are super positive and welcoming. Multiple team members pitched in for the blowout at the end, which added to the fun atmosphere. Great experience from start to finish, and worth every penny! I highly recommend this stylist and salon.

Went to this place for a number of years, loved my stylist. The last time I went, I was handed over to a very inexperienced assistant to wash my hair, that not only soaked my shirt, but made for a very unpleasant wash (burning hot water and pulling my hair). I told her politely to be a little more gentle and turn the water a little cooler. After this I was handed back over to my stylist, and I was trying to stay positive. I understand people need to get experience to be trained. But then my stylist proceeded to give me an attitude about the style I wanted because it wasn't how she normally did my hair. When I insisted, she got very quiet and did the hairstyle. As I left, tipppng generously by the way, I heard my stylist instruct the front desk girl to schedule me with someone other than herself...never been back since. I felt very disrespected and unappreciated. Three stars because it was very good until that fateful day.

Krystal is the best. I usually avoid getting hair cuts sense I have curly hair and I'm afraid it will get messed up. But she did an amazing job! She's also very kind and very excited about what she does.

To be honest, that is the worst place I could pick in Albuquerque. I got hair cut by a man there, I look funny!! He wanted to cut my bang too short, I took back my head and said no! Longer! My bang is still fucking short!! Idk what to do!!I would never go there! Never recommended!!!!

Highly recommend Hailey! She listened to what I wanted, and had excellent ideas to make it happen. I love love love my haircut! Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere as well. Great "me" time!
