Mountain Vista Apartments

I was given the wrong address for a change of address during my move in process. I've been living above a 2nd hand smoker for 2 months. I've been contacting management weekly(1-2x) and no action has been taken. The fitness center sauna is broke, and trash is left on gym equipment daily. I moved here from Michigan; and I'd really like for my new home(Albuquerque) to actually feel like home... thanks.--CG

Great staff, but neighbors don't know how to stay to themselves and love to insert themselves in everyone's business. Great location, great weather, nice floor plans, but select tenants don't know when to keep to themselves :)

About a week and a half ago we had property inspections, unsolicited, unwanted and uninvited into our home. It has to be done I get it. The maintenance guy wanted to install the A/C filter located right behind a very very heavy entertainment table along with a very big tv. So he asked me to do it.A 120-23 pound guy with absolutely no strength.I refused and he insisted, I told him he could do it himself, or the tv would just not move. I ended up telling him my dad will install the filter himself later. Days later I had to call to report a few leaks in one of the bedrooms coming from the cealing now that has been raining. I was told by the lady who answered the phone that they couldnt do anything at the moment. To use buckets in the meanwhile. A week and a half after and now i have 2 more spots on the roof where water is pouring from. During summer time there is an infestation of cockroaches all over the apts, mostly on the outside. Lets not count the amount of shootings happening around here.

Awesome office staff and AHH-MAZING maintenance!

I love these apartments. The staff are excellent they are like family. The units are great sizes and the kitchen is sooooo big lots of cabinet spaces. The grounds are well kept and lots of space for kids to run around and play as well as your fur animals. There is a playground they kids can play on. And 2 swimming pools that are awesome and hardly ever crowded. Crowded as in 6 or more people. The school close by is awesome my kids love it. There are 2 pharmacy's across the street and a family fun center with laser tag and paintball and go-cart racing and etc along with a movie theather. The apartments also do lots of fun stuff for the kids to do and for the family to do. You would be missing out if u do not even come check them out. It's a wonderful place to call home.

Great location, large apartments. Perfect for working adults and families. Peaceful and tranquil living is shattered on a daily basis by select neighbors who despite agreeing to the terms of the lease refuse to comply from the beginning to the end. Office staff will listen and try to help if they can. Roving security is available after hours. APD will respond as well, don't take chance with personal/family safety and security The MV office staff are very receptive, they cannot help rectify the problem(s) or address issues unless they know about it and are given the opportunity to resolve it. Stay safe and be very aware of your surroundings. Invest in a security system they have several on the market for apartment communities. See office if you have any questions.

The place is not worth the rent, which by the way has increased over 25% in the past two years. The management staff rarely, if ever answer the phone, maintenance is poor, and the properties are infested with roaches. Lease is up in 6 weeks and I am looking for another rental.

Dirty complex. Looks like a dump. Saw kids jumping on piled up dumped mattresses and other furniture. Saw two dogs take a dump on the grass and left there. Filthy. Don't bother, management doesn't care. Rent way too high for such a dirty, unsafe, place.

Great location close to everything. We have had a great experience here.The employee's are wonderful, from the office staff to the maintenance.Office employee's always helpful and professional.Maintenance has always resolved our issues in a timely manner.The grounds are well kept and clean.The Manager is wonderful and takes pride in the property and host several events throughout the year for residents to make everyone feel like it is home and welcome, very nice and personable.Very much recommend checking this place out.

This is the worst apartments I've ever lived in. The employees are completely unprofessional and absolutely flat out rude. Our roof caved in and they forced us to sign another lease into a two bedroom. And now are saying we cannot end the lease. Even though the lease is up. Beyond frustrated with Katrina. A leading agent there. She is beyond petty. And did not help and yelled at me. I would not recommend living there to my worst enemy. Stay far away from this place.
