Mountain Run Apartments

It has been over a week and not a single return call from Evelyn the leasing manager or FPI Management as to why they made up damage that was not there to rip us off of the deposit. We found a place to live, had to pay for 2 more months rent and all of their bogus common area charges and this place is a dump. Ants, rotting stairs, collapsed landing, appliances, dishwasher and clothes washer so loud you had to leave the apartment when they were running. They never came to fix outside security lighting after 3 request. These people are awful and are only interested in your money, your safety and security are unimportant.

3 stars because our first 11 months were great under the old management. One week all of a sudden everyone was fired and a whole new team was brought in. They had no idea what they were doing and have not tried to get to know the complex residents at all. Very unfriendly when you call or stop in for any help. Thankfully we bought a house and were able to move out when our lease was up. It's a nice place overall but beware--they say there are breed and aggressive dog restrictions but they don't enforce that at all. Hopefully this new team will get better because it is a nice quiet apartment complex overall.

If I could give zero stars I would. The entire complex is falling apart. Maintenance is absolutely awful at this place. We were there for only a month until we moved into our home. My husband and I left the place cleaner than when we moved in. It's what we believe in. They never did a walk through with us before or after. They had us check items ourselves that we saw were issues. They then proceeded to do a walk through after we moved out accusing us of damage we never did and gave very little of our deposit back. We had common place charges monthly yet the place was a dump with cigarette buds every where, dog poop not picked up and rotting decks and stairwells. One stairwell collapsed a week or so after we moved out! You do NOT want to rent here

I go here to looking for a new apartment with my best friend here. The staff are really, we talked to one of the lady, she is sweet and provided us information that we needed. I like the area here is kinda peaceful and good atmosphere around with trees and green space

The assistant manager is such a sweetheart and a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a new place to call home & can do a 2 bedroom in the heights then this is your spot to check out and possibly call home.

Moved in about 2 months ago and these apartments are truly disappointing. First the plumbing here SUCKS toilets over flowing in the middle of the night a HUGE weird object came out of the toilet. Not only one toile over flowing but BOTH. Water constantly gets shut off without notice. Second thing is they lie about all the amenities they offer. Walls and every other repair you can tell is cheaply fixed. The parking is the worst. If you live downstairs good luck with the upstairs neighbors sounds like people literally stomping and jumping. Speed bumps are not painted you can hardly see them during the day imagine at night. They care about your car not being registered and can come boot it tow at 3 am but not enough to look out for burglars.

Worst place i've lived in that "was" priced cheaper a couple years ago until new a new owner took control. pool has poor maintenance, dog poop everywhere, mailboxes are broken into at least once a month so better hope you aren't getting something important in the mail during the weekends, bad maintenance that takes months even if it's something important. rent goes up by a significant amount yearly, OH and they also change contracts and lease agreements yearly, so if you're a long term renter WHATCH OUT and go over it with a fine comb to make sure you don't get screwed by them. BEWARE to all future renters, really be careful with this place.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. After coming home from work, I walked into a flooded apartment. A pipe upstairs had rotted and caved in my roof (it was dirty dishwasher water). They sent a random contractor into my house at 9 at night who made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The next day they tore open my ceiling and didnt provide me with accommodations to stay. They left it open for days. Bugs, you name it were coming through the opening and my whole place smelled of rotten sewer( the front desk lady didnt smell a thing though). The construction people left nails all over the concrete so I had 2 flat tires from them. The fan in my bathroom almost caused an Electrical fire(they never fixed it). After FINALLY moving out they then sent me a letter saying I owe a renovation fee with ZERO explanation. i just find it comical they are saying I OWE MONEY. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have lived all over and can assure you this place is the WORST. If you want more horror stories I have plenty.

This apartment complex use to be amazing, but the new management of Priderock has taken over and within approximately a month they have ruined what used to be an amazing place to live. Nobody in leasing office knows how to do their jobs and good luck getting them to answer phone calls, emails or even simple questions about making payment. Sadly we will be moving after all of these issues. Very frustrating dealing with this new management.

Mountain Run is awesome. Everyone in the office is so unbelievably helpful, and really help to accommodate for needs. They communicate very well and fast, and are kind humans. The apartments are fairly priced and beautiful spaces. Great bedroom sizes, awesome nice kitchen, and wonderful community. So many amenities too!! Pool, spa, gym, so great! Fantastic choice for an apartment. Nice area is NE ABQ too!
