David and his crew did a full backyard landscape with a concrete patio, walkways and pergola and did an amazing job, very meticulous of his work and ideas. I even re hired him to do a concrete rv driveway and widen my existing drIveway. Just hired him to do a block way.

Look at the photos and carefully consider before hiring this company for concrete work. 8K for this driveway and patio. Not the cheapest estimate either--actually, more towards the top end. Some guy on Craigslist offered to do it for 4K (should have tried him). They won't fix or refund. Stopped returning calls or responding. Mountain Paradise called these "hairline cracks". Definition of hairline crack: ACI 116R-90, Cement and Concrete Terminology, defines hairline cracks as cracks in an exposed concrete surface having widths so small as to be barely perceptible. Although this definition doesn't give a numerical value for width (or require the viewer to wear bifocals to see the crack), it probably applies to cracks less than about 0.003 inch (0.08 mm) in width. These are approaching half an inch and getting wider by the day. These are one year later but the cracks appeared within days (I have photos of the progression). Photos show where whole chunks are going to start popping up soon. They responded to a negative review by saying that if I didn't want cracks I shouldn't have done concrete: I should have chosen a different medium. They didn't advise me on my poor choice of medium as they were cashing my check, which is really too bad. I'd have loved to hear creative suggestions. I actually haven't seen many driveways in Albuquerque that aren't concrete. Lots of concrete patios in the Q too. They also apologized for my disappointment and said that they strive for concrete that looks good and lasts--so I've got that to comfort me as I look around at my cracking, chunking concrete, one year later. That really dark grey streak around the cracks in the patio is their idea of "fixing" them so "we would never even know they were there" after we complained. Not much I can do but warn others to look for themselves and decide if this is how they would have spent 8K (after saving for a really long time). Could have purchased a fire pit and set fire to the cash (maybe even gotten S'Mores out of it). You should know we've done nothing to this concrete except sweep it and use it as intended. We had a really mild winter this year and don't ever apply salt or chemicals to our driveway. We followed all aftercare instructions to keep it wet after it was poured. Also, the driveway is the SECOND pour. They had to tear it all out and re-pour it after the first pour cracked because of an unexpected temperature drop (they didn't tarp or blanket it). They refused to re-pour the patio and only offered to "fix" it (as shown in the photos).

Not very professional. Started out didn't even have our estimate appointment remembered we had to call an hour after our appointment to see if he was coming. Didn't seem to want the job we wanted. He wanted it all or nothing. Kept insisting that if we disturbed the ground after he built it, it was going to fall. WTF? What kind of work do you do where it will fall? I don't think he wanted to dig the proper footing to build. Just needed a wall done but he didn't seem to want it. And not a tiny wall. I have seen a wall he did that's why we called them and this wall was 5 Times smaller than what we wanted. So we will find someone who will. Thank you
