Moses Kountry Health Food Store

I just happened upon Moses Kountry Health Foods while out for a walk so I decided to see if they might have something I could not find at other grocery stores (VWG aka gluten flour). They did and I bought some. The staff was helpful and friendly, we chatted about vegan cooking and German food when I mentioned that I planned to use the VWG to make schnitzel. I only bought the one item, but the store seemed well stocked with all kinds of "healthy" products. If you are interested in "health food," you should probably check it out. It's easy to find on a major street and they have a nice parking lot.

First time I've been to Moses country health store and now is the maze by the great customer service that they have there and also the quality advice that they give you on every product love it I will definitely be attending in the future for lots of services

I found this store while driving down 4th Street. I was curious and had time to stop and was glad that I did. I so appreciate these unique type health stores. They are typically expensive, but I know that is because they can't buy in bulk like the larger chains (like Whole Foods and Sprouts). I bought a few things, mostly because I like to support independent enterprises. I am glad that they are around!

I am not super impressed with the cleanliness of the store or the friendliness of staff. I pick up my CSA bag there and there is little adherence to any COVID safety protocols. Would be interested to spend more time there liking around but usually get In and out quickly and pick up my CSA bag(s) and. Leave because of the lack of COVID safety protocols. .

Moses Kountry is such a gem! I go there frequently and feel like the people working there are likeminded friends. The staff is small and everyone is extremely well-versed in their inventory. if ever they don't carry something that I ask about, they offer to order it for me. Also--they're knowledgeable about health and able to answer questions if you're unsure of what supplement(s) you may need. They carry a lot of specialty items and medicinal foods. Although they have more variety in supplements than food, I find that most of my shopping needs (apart from fresh produce) can be satisfied here!

I am updating my review from 2 weeks ago. I mentioned that the employee was not particularly warm, but helped answer my question. Well, ends up, what I took home was not in the least close to what I had asked for. I went in looking to replicate a powdered hydration supplement that has been working fantastic for me. (honestly ... it's really hard for me to stay hydrated). But I didn't want the caffeine it had in it. I thought I might just get the multi-vitamin/supplement ingredients in separate doses. I took the box in with me so they could refer to the listed ingredients. She completely dismissed it, which I thought was okay because she acted so certain that she had the answer ... trace minerals. Okay .. I'll trust you. In fact I think my supplement contains trace minerals, so that must be what is helping me so. The first night, I took only a half dose. Midnight - the worst migraine I have had in 5 years. (Usually my migraines are triggered by dehydration.) I think the trace minerals were definitely a part of the problem. Then .... here's the kicker ... when I compared ingredients of what I had ASKED for and what she SOLD me, there was almost NO similarity. Bottom line, she didn't listen to anything I asked for.

Just incredible service, knowledge! The absolute best store to get products that are procured that really work!!! Everything Nathan has recommended my family has blessed us! Every city in the nation needs this store!!!!
