Morningside Park

This park is a block away from my apartment. It's quite, well maintained, and other locals use it for visiting and walking their dogs.

This is a great neighborhood park. The city has done a great job of maintaining it and keeping it clean. There are dog bags so people can clean up after themselves. As for the play area for kids everything was in good condition and clean.

It's a small park, yet it's okay. Parking is limited. There are no courtesy plastic bags here to use just in case your dog goes number two, so for this place you must BYOB [bring your own bags] if you bring your pooch along. There is a small play structure for young children; the swings are swings. In the mornings I will see different homeless people here; I also see other canine owners walking their pets. There are times markets are set up, and they look fun. Due to parking issues and time constraints I have yet to go to a market here.Morningside park is on my dog's five mile route, so she really likes stopping here to smell the grass. It's usually watered, so it feels nice and refreshing in the mornings. I like the shade, bench, and picnic table. This place earns three stars because I can tell my dog likes chilling out here for a while.

I live near this park. It's a well kept area just big enough to play frisbee, hang out with your dog and play around in the jungle-gym. They have swings. It's a nice place to have a picnic. They frequently have events here, like small farmers markets. Overall it's a nice little park. One thing to note is that sometimes homeless people will gather here which can be a plus or minus depending if you're into those types of gatherings.
