I have to say I found my car buying experience actually enjoyable. Looking at the cars you can get good deals here. Enjoyed working with Brian, Aaron, and Rebecca. I might lower the review as I do feel they didn't follow through with everything they said they would. I'm. Calling to see what happened. It was a miss communication. Thank you Aaron

I recently helped my 78 year old grandma other purchase a car from Aaron at Morning Star and it was a great experience. She asked me to go along because she felt that a car salesman would take advantage of her because she is elderly and not very knowledgable about cars.That was as far opposite of our experience as possible. From their no hassle pricing all the way through asking questions and signing on the line Aaron was great and very thorough. We are extremely happy with the vehicle and the service we received. I give Aaron / Morning Star my highest recommendation and will purchase here again.

To be honest I had never heard of this place and probably would've just driven on by if it weren't for the ranking on USAA and Costco. I'm pretty weary of car buying in general, so I wasn't sure this lot with a tiny office would be great, but I figured, USAA backs them, so we'd go check out a car. The process was pretty quick, we called to let them know we'd be coming by to check out a particular car, they had it ready for me to go. I was able to move my car seat over to test drive it, took it over to my sister who used to own an auto shop for inspection/approval, while they evaluated my car. I got more than a fair value for my trade in, a SUPER low rate thanks to USAA, and the easiest car buying process I've ever had. Rebecca is fantastic! It's a small world since I know her from volleyball and kickball. I also think having financing in hand made the process super smooth. I'd recommend it.

This was by far the best car buying experience anyone could ask for. Before visiting Morning Star Motor Company I visited quite a few car dealerships in Albuquerque and had terrible luck. Most people at the other dealerships were either rude or did not want to bother with me because this was my first car purchase. This was not the case with Morning star. The entire staff was friendly and so helpful. On arrival to the dealership, there were no sales people walking around waiting to flock to your car and make you feel uncomfortable. After looking around for a while Brian the owner came out to greet me and let me know if I have any questions or want to look at the inside of a car, let him know. I found a car I liked and took it for a test drive. Brian let me test drive it by myself. After deciding to purchase the vehicle, Cody helped with completing the paperwork and was very friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Everyone on the Morning Star Motor Company team was professional and very friendly. The rear view mirror when I purchased the vehicle was broken and not sticking to the window. Josh was quick to purchase another mirror and install it into the vehicle for me.If you are looking to purchase a used vehicle from honest and professional people, THIS IS THE PLACE Albuquerque!

I cannot say enough about these guys. My husband and I were in Albuquerque on vacation and decided, while we were here, to test drive a vehicle we had been interested in back home in Colorado. Morning Star happened to have exactly what we were looking for (a 2008 Jeep Patriot) at a better price, in better condition and with lower mileage than anything we had found at home. Needless to say: Sold. We worked with Aaron who was friendly, knowledgeable, honest and not pushy. We were thrilled not only with the Jeep, but also with the people it came from.After taking the Jeep home, however, we noticed an odd noise coming from the engine. We took it back to the dealership the next day and the owner, Brian, took a ride with us to see if he could tell us if that sound was normal. He agreed it was strange. Of course at this point the Jeep belonged to us and Brian was under no obligation whatsoever to take care of this for us, but instead of turning us away and saying "Too bad, it's your problem now" he said "Although I do not have to, I am going to cover this because it is the right thing and it is what both you and I would expect me to do." So he sent us to the mechanic that inspects all their vehicles and when they couldn't pinpoint the source/cause of the noise, had it sent directly to the Jeep dealership. All I can say is "wow". Brian has gone out of his way to make sure we are happy with our new vehicle. He did not have to do any of this for us. Coupling this attitude with the overall pleasant experience we have had with Morning Star Motor, I would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for all their help.

I was looking for a particular model car and found it on the internet at this dealer. Unlike others I tried to deal with remotely, Aaron was very straightforward and easy to communicate with. He answered all my questions and I quickly got comfortable with him and with the car, and went ahead and bought it.I flew over to Albuquerque and he had one of his guys pick me up at the airport. Knowing that I had a long drive home, he had the temporary tag and everything else all ready to go and after a few pleasantries I was on my way. Compare that to the places that make you sit for pitch for paint sealant or something and waste your time, what a difference!The other thoughtful thing I discovered later ... apparently the previous owner had run over a curb or something and the lip spoiler was all torn up. Rather than just chucking it in the trash, Aaron's guy took it off and left the parts in the trunk for me. After looking around a little I figured out what it was and where it went, and was able to replace the damaged parts for $27. For someone like me who likes to keep a car in tip-top shape, I though it was very thoughtful of them to give me the parts so I knew what had happened and could put it right.If you didn't think there were pleasant, helpful, easy to work with people in the used car business, now you know one in Albuquerque, NM!

Honestly, if you are going to get a used car in Abq. This is the only place I will ever go to. Customer service is just plain honest with you. Aaron and Tyler did everything right in front of me. None of the normal b.s. You deal with a dealers where they play the hold on I'll be right back game.Gave me a great price on my trade in and a even better deal on the new cherokee. Honest, open, fair and won't have you there all day.

Cody and Jose were extremely responsive to any inquiry I posed. Communications and sale of the vehicle were honest, and transparent. I would HIGHLY recommend this group if you are interested in a vehicle. This is our second vehicle purchased here. Jose was very responsible and honest.. Buying a vehicle (to me) is one of the hardest things to do but we were never pressured to buy from these guys. We went there looking at a particular truck and after talking to Jose, he made several suggestions that we might be interested in. He listened to what we needed and what we were looking for. He made it very difficult because all the trucks we test drove were excellent. We finally decided on 2013 Dodge Ram truck that was within out budget, very clean with low mileage. They paid for three of the tires that needed replacing and I can't say enough good things about Jose and Cody. Just want to say thanks guys, it was a pleasure working with you.
