It's in a small strip mall. Not bad. Not great

This is actually for the Star Liquors area of the store. The set up from the outside, especially at night, was a little confusing so I ended up going through the grocery store to get to the smaller liquor area. Employee greeted me as I entered, it is small but they seem to have a little bit of everything. I was in and out in no time and it is very convenient from the highway.

Meh- typical small town store. The staff there are amazing. Wonderful, friendly locals who make it worth the occasional stop and paying their higher prices. And yes, they are a bit higher in prices than other local grocers. They do carry some of those hard to find products so that is nice. The store has a deli which is ok. I for one stopped visiting it long ago. I am one who prefers a good value for my money- when you take that away, customers will seek options elsewhere. In an effort to support the local mom n pop shops, I will continue to occasionally shop there. Hoping their friendly customer service continues.

I like Moriarty Foods... That being said some of their basic products that can't be found anywhere else in town are higher priced than should be---like lettuce for example---which I realize is a common tactic when a business has the monopoly... Doesn't mean I have to like it though. The employees are mostly all very friendly and helpful and the store is relatively clean. Luckily this grocery store has pretty much everything you could want or need without having to drive to Edgewood's grocery options...Overall there could be a much worse grocery store in town and this one is certainly not that. While their prices are a little more than their competitors, their selection and friendly staff help make up for that---some. A-OK.

For a small town grocery store Moriarty Foods is top notch. We have been shopping there since they opened in 1988 and so glad they did. The folks who have worked there over the years are former students, and friends, and neighbors. We are so glad they open at 7:00 am. They do their best to keep products up to date and when foods are out of date they are used to help those in our valley who are homeless. We pray God continues to bless those who have worked and the new folks who are working and shop at Moriarty Foods

Great customer service, I love the fact that there is a family feel to the place. They treated us like family since we moved to Torrance Co. over a year ago. I appreciate the hustle in the staff, they are always busy.

Does NOT enforce mask mandate even though they have a sign posted at the door stating so. Apparently they think as long as they post the regulation they are complying, but it is in NO WAY enforced. No less than 3 people shopping and checked out with no mask at all, and two who wore their masks as necklaces. Social distancing only when another patron complained and informed the no-masked to step back. Will not be shopping here again, will shop at Dollar General, Family Dollar or up the road at Walmart in Edgewood. It's worth traveling the few extra miles not to get infected.

I will go to the grocery part of Moriarty Foods and the experience is always good. However, the liquor store in the grocery store is another matter. I was in line social distancing and holding a couple of bottles of wine and another woman came up and just out her items on the counter while I am standing in line and I politely said I am next, the cashier had seen me previously come in select items and stand in line and she said she would get me next. I replied no you won't and returned my items to the shelf and left. Why spend money in a place with no regard for me? I won't

The review claiming many grocery items are 50% more than the big box stores is complete nonsense. Perhaps Yelp should provide a basic arithmetic test before one can post. Some items are more, some the same, and some less. For example, a gallon of water is cheaper at this store than either of the two big boxes in Edgewood (so is a bag of ice). Retail prices change often, one day a store is cheaper than another. Next week perhaps not. The sale prices in the weekly ad are competitive with the two in Edgewood.
