Montgomery Park

I recently relocated to this area for work, so I've been in the mood to check out the neighborhood on my lunch breaks. I came across this park and it is very nice. The Hahn canal goes through this park, breaking in a "Y" fashion. But the park is big, so even though the canal is here, it really doesn't take much away from visitors using it.And there's lots to do. There's a nice tennis complex, with 4 tennis courts. There's plenty of space for walking, which is what I like to do. And there's a swing set for the kiddos. There aren't many picnic tables, but plenty of grass to sit on. Just bring your own blanket to place on the ground to enjoy a meal that you've brought with you.I go here each weekday, so maybe I'll see you there. :)

Great park with lots of open space. A play area for the kids is also awesome it's conveniently located in the middle of town.

Pretty awesome park with plenty of shades and room to spread out for picnic, games or just lay down under one of the many shades this park has. It is a hidden pearl and you must look for it since it is deep inside a small neighborhood but the reward is well worth. They have a total of 4 tennis courts and are well kept and maintained by city of ABQ and best of all there are plenty of parking spaces around the park and it does not cost a dime to utilize the park.

Big park with lot to do for the kids. Plenty of shade trees and a nice big play area for the kids to climb on. I see a soccer practice going on as I type this review. I don't see anyone past out drunk or doing drugs but then again it is like 5 in the afternoon.

So imagine its dark... you're gong to the park to play tag at ight looking for some friends... you go to the equipment and there's a homeless man tryna sleep up there...
