Monterey Motel

Everything looked nice in the beginning, updated room, parking by the door. But then .... WiFi wasn't working. I called front desk, was put on hold without human interaction twice, that someone hang up on me. Called again, a lady picked up the call, told me she was in a different property. I went to the motel front, nice bartender told me that maintenance is gone, she can't do anything and her boss wasn't responding. WiFi never came up until morning. Not even an apology. Gets worse.Shower has a plastic floor and is slippery, I did not realise until used soap and fell on a sharp corner of a tile. Front desk told me there was supposed to be a shower mat. I agree but there wasn't. I asked a manager to contact me. Did not get a call.This is a NO GO place.

Excellent! Clean, comfortable, elegant, friendly staff, located within walking distance of Old Town. They even offer a complimentary bar beverage at the Momo Lounge.

Rooms were super cute , and comfortable. Good use of a small space . Outside looks sketchy but quick checkin and service

I've been staying here for a decade. The older owners were warm and sweet but like many things an update was overdue. Boom- prices have doubled to 140 for these simple pull your truck up to the door rooms. Thats understandable for all the modern changes but anymore and it'll top me out of staying here. I love the additional Momo Lounge with great drinks after a day of driving complete with loud DJ neon lit bar; it would make a great gathering for sure & I simply sat at the bar but there's outside seating. I couldn't hear the music from our room so that was good when I needed to get to sleep for another long drive across the Southwest. Rooms are clean, modern, & naturally homie for a relaxing vibe. Definitely a great classic stop for a halfway point between SoCal to Dallas.

I had my birthday party here and it was fantastic! Shondeen made exceptional drinks and the staff who helped me with drinks was professional. The space is perfect. Two patios and an inside lounge bar. We stayed the night in one of their cute boutique style rooms. We will go back again and again!

This is a renovated vintage motel with Mid-century vibes. Neon lights and cool lounge. Great cocktails and friendly staff. Traveling with family, they have that covered too! Relax and enjoy the ride back in time on Route 66. Can't wait to come back.

We got this at the last minute on the road. Wow were we fortunate, you check in at this adorable little lounge where there is music playing and a bar, so that was extremely unique and fun.The room couldn't be cuter or more comfortable! The hostess recommended a restaurant nearby called Sadie's and it was really phenomenal. We hope to stay here again when we travel through...

Beautiful room. Cute and comfortable. The shower was hard to adjust. Great place though!!

The room had a strong mildew odor and heat did not work. When I asked the night manager Natalia for a blanket she said they didn't have one and to talk to Nate in the morning.
