Monte Carlo Liquors

The Monte Carlo has always been a favorite dinner place before Covid . In April we took family visiting from Munich over for dinner they loved the prime rib dinner and the porterhouse steak . All was good Shelly was great and everyone was happy. Last week we had dinner there except we waited forever for our meals , while other customers received their meals when they came way after us , then the food was not like it use to be . The baked potato was still hard hamburger steak was not tasty like before and the ribeye was to chewy . The staff has changed , the staff from April was missed this last visit .

Stayed open as I pulled up at the last minute. Found what I wanted and cashed me out asap. Great service.

Everything I wanted in a liquor store. Good prices and a great selection.Service was excellent the 3 times I visited while on vacation in Albuquerque.

I came in while passing through Albuquerque and I was hunting some bourbons. The owner, George, invited me into his world and showed me all his bourbons, shared stories of years past and gave me a few samples. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and hospitable. Prices are very reasonable. Will come back for sure.

(I wrote this on their restaurant Yelp page, but wanted to make sure that the liquor portion of the business got their due as this is where we shopped!) Okay, WOW! When I think of the way family-owned business was and is-- this establishment is going to be what comes to mind. This is a combination liquor store and restaurant. Customer service is their name and I just can't believe how well they do it. We were in the neighborhood, honestly, just looking to buy a few minis, and came about Monte Carlo. We left with 8 bottles of liquor, 1 case of wine, cups, ice, and the minis we originally came for! We were greeted the moment we walked in the door, pointed towards the sale items, given recommendations and offered samples-- I felt like royalty! We were explained that this business has been a local presence for many, many years and it's no surprise why. We will continue to come here, even though we live 30 minutes away, given this fantastic experience, wonderful prices, and exceptional service!

Really nice people who work there, good selection of liquor, free samples! Where else can you get free samples??
