After a short vacation from Mondo (the crowds were ridiculous) we came back to enjoy late lunch. Beautiful traditional Italian food, fantastic service (thank you Sarah) and a comfortable casual atmosphere.... Mondo is just as good, if not better than it's ever been. And reasonably priced!!!!

On vacation, the locals recommended this spot. You need to go in through the left side downstairs to get to the restaurant. The pasta was delicious, I only wish it was spicier.The Alfredo that my husband got was the best I had. Service was great as well, only it took awhile for the food to come out but we were a party of 10.

I went here today for a business lunch and boy was I impressed. I got a nice shrimp, pasta dish, and the other party got linguine with clams. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be back.

Another wonderful pizza from Mondo Italiano. I called in a pepperoni pizza around lunchtime. It was busy so good for them. Always friendly and good food. Yes! I'm ready for a calzone so I'm returning soon. Oh! The cannoli was delicious.

The food tasted good but I really had a tough time cutting my chicken parmigiana. My wife and I really appreciated the young lady who seated us and helped us with our drinks. Nice to see young people being responsible. There is no visible signage at night. If we hadn't put it in Maps, we would've totally missed it. Even once we got there, it was difficult to figure out where to go as there are multiple food establishments on the premises. Recommend putting up better signage.

The to go order is awful. The pizza is cold and cardboardy. I was really looking forward to the Apple salad with the raspberry vinaigrette. How was it? I will never know as no dressing was included. Neither were any utensils. As I was staying in a hotel this was problematic. The order did include sauteed spinach and a Greek salad WITH dressing. These were delicious even if eaten with fingers.

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Wednesday in November, when much else in Taos was closed, and even at that odd hour everything was spot on. The antipasto salad we shared was big and loaded with a variety of meats and cheeses on crisp lettuce, with an herby vinaigrette dressing. Hubby had spaghetti with sausage, I had carbonara, and we shared a chocolate mousse pyramid for dessert. All amazing. Mood was delightful. Waitress friendly and attentive. If we lived in Taos, we would be regulars. We don't, but we will be occasionals!
