Love this movie theater for a number of reasons! The popcorn is always fresh and never stale. The employees are super friendly always have a smile and never seem to be in a bad mood. The theaters are always clean I have yet to go into one where they missed anything. The cost is a lot cheaper then Albuquerque theaters. Now I will say the food court does need an update. It is really small and the selection is limited and out dated but the fresh popcorn makes up for that. Aside from that it's ok if I could it would be 4 1/2 stars. If your in the area catch a movie save some money and enjoy your popcorn.

Great place to go watch a movie! Much cheaper than driving into Albuquerque! Atmosphere is great and the employees are polite. It's a very comfortable theater and the selection of movies is fantastic.

We enjoy going to see the movies there! It's close by and popcorn is always fresh! The employees are always friendly and ready to serve you. The place is always clean and the seats are comfy!

This theatre is so cold that you can hang meat during the showing of the movie. We have asked the staff to turn on the heat, but they do so for 15 minutes or so. That's it. My other issue is that the sound, the dialogue specifically is so low that I can barely hear what is being said. There is infinitely more wrong with this place than what is right. What a shame.

This is our nearest theatre and we really enjoy going especially since the update. This time the theatre was a little chilly. Other than that, all was good :) all employees were polite and helpful. Bathrooms were clean.

I've worked at starlight Cinema eight for a while now and decided to look up our reviews out of curiosity and I wanted to answer a question a lot of people have the AC isn't like the one you would have at home it's connected to giant fans in the ceiling and we have no control over it. It's set on a timer we do this, not only to save power, but also because it's mandatory since all the theaters are connected by the same ventilation system and it's not uncommon most theaters in the US do this ps. thanks for all the nice messages me and my colleagues try very hard :)

The previous reviews were 2+ years old with nothing recent. Well, it is 100° outside and it is not too cold inside like the previous reviewers stated. The popcorn is good, admission is cheap, it is close for us in Valencia county NM, the sound is fine, the bathrooms are clean, and the weekend matinees are a great way to kill a hot weekend in June. I love this theater.

Great theater for the price. It definitely beats driving to Albuquerque and spending more money.

Cheaper than driving to Albuquerque, and saves you at least $2.00 a ticket compared to ABQ movie prices. Employees are generally friendly. There is limited showtimes during the week, however. Overall, a conveniently located and overall reasonably priced theatre.
