Mission Hill Apartments

This complex is horrible. You are not allowed to have an overnight guest park in the complex. They have a third-party company come and boot any cars that do not have a permanent parking sticker. My car had a temporary guest sticker and I got booted anyway. Each day you need to print a new sticker. Who has a printer in their apartment to do this?! The finance office was of no help getting this resolved. Booting cars in apartment complexes is predatory and just plain wrong. Also getting anything delivered via doordash, amazon etc is a huge pain due to the front gate. Stay far away from this awful complex. They also don't repair things in a timely manner. The puke on my steps has also been there for months. They claimed they cleaned it up but just shoved it to the corner of the steps. Gross!

Staff is actually really friendly. But is seems like everyone has a roof leak when it rains or snows. If they charge us for this floor replacement we will involve a lawyer.

they have outdated appliances older than me it appears we have a dishwasher that doesn't clean nothing but water goes in so it's fine!! we have a stove that from the beginning smokes the whol apartment up fire alarms goes off every time we use it there response is I need to clean it when it's unclean able! my wife has cleaned it best that she can! but it turns on so it's fine!! terrible service

What can I say that hasn't been said? Saw two fat roaches crawling across the wall and wasn't even moved in for an hour. I shouldn't have to tell the office to send their guy every month, I've seen him once out of like 4-5 times I asked for an exterminator. I don't think they actually put our unit in their boom for the exterminator. Trust me I'd know if he came cuz I work at home.Umm I hope you are one of those people who likes meeting strangers , cuz a lot of vagrants stroll through here. Of course this adds to the problems of cars being broken into or getting mugged in broad daylight coming back from the office from a potluck- ask my neighbor.The parking lot is a a race track no one slows down and I'm shocked no ones been hit ! Office staff haha from day one it's a shit show. Was told provide two money orders for x amount for my down payment. We are moved in like 2.5 wks and get a fucking call that they don't take money orders and I have to get a cashiers check. Right waste money and time to fix their mistake. Oh then they had the nerve to misquote the amount and put an eviction notice for $8 bucks, now the amount isn't the issue , the problem is I was told both times to get a money order/cashiers check and never mention it.It's a shit show up there, at least the maintenance is on point and they have always taken care of business. They work with what they have , which sucks because my fridge broke the first month and the maintenance guys like, " we gonna have to replace it." It was replaced with an old ass fridge that looks like shit , the guy said he asked for a new one but that's what they were told to use. I'm not mad at the maintenance guys like I said they gotta work with what they have. I'm not going to renew my lease, I'm one of those people that stays at the same place like 5-6 yrs and then moves. For sure this place is a shit hole, the management is fucking lost, and then the random bums wandering around add the residents who drive like assholes makes this place not a very safe place. Should've gone with my instinct and told my wife why this place sucks just at first glance, now she learned the hard way. But hey like someone mentioned it's cheap and at least they go two pools! ‍

Do NOT rent at Mission Hill. I wish I could give negative stars. From the start, the girl whom helped us had no idea what she was doing, unclear of procedures, payments and all around questions we had. Once we had moved in we noticed baby roaches, we placed our name on the list to have someone come and look. The gentlemen told me there was no drippings and no need to bait. Each month we had the guy come back and sat the same thing time and time again. They're a big, small, medium, babies, any size you can think of, they have. We were also told we had a month to put utilities in our name. Two days later we had no power or gas. We were told they replaced our carpets, yet in the actual apartment there were stains throughout the entire carpet which they documented but they were supposed to be new? Don't leave or buy a nice vehicle. The parking is open, meaning you park where you like. They're supposedly supposed to have "security" patrolling the complex. However they're never around, and they're never seen. My boyfriend had his car broken into twice, and the third time they stole it. I called the office to ask what they could do and they told us it wasn't their problem. All they could do is place the police report in our file. We then bought another vehicle. Maybe two days later, it was also broken into. Our neighbors have all reported their cars were broken into as well. We were also told they would be a gated community "soon" however other residents that have lived in the complex for approximately two years said they've been promised that since their move in.

This place has 0 security. My car has been broken into TWICE now and my stuff stolen. Everywhere you look there is a used needle lying on the group. The staff is the furthest thing from friendly you can find. Heck they tried to rip me off when I moved in by replacing the paper I agreed to with a clean one! DO NOT give them your money. This is literally a last resort option that you WILL regret immediately.

Really great place to live. Not only is it super affordable, but the community hosts all sorts of events for the people living there. I feel very safe with the added gate as well!

People should know that this apartment complex is run by a bunch of thieves and incompetent. After dealing with 3 weeks of demands for one thing or another, they finally approved me. I had already given them a $250 security deposit, plus 70 administration fees and 50 application fee. And guess what they are refusing to return my deposit.Soooo, I plan on letting people know that Monarch Investments is run by thieves and incompetents on social on a regular

I've been living here since the beginning of 2020, and it's been a solid experience. The apartments are a bit older, but management has kept them in good condition over the years. The maintenance staff is responsive, and the front desk staff has always worked well with me to solve any issues. Some interesting characters come through on occasion, but it's Albuquerque and I've never felt like I'm in any real danger. Overall, good value for the price.

We've been without heat here for a month! Three work orders, they only light the pilot light and leave, the system obviously doesn't work before they leave, but they say the work order is complete. Can't seem to get a resolution to this problem with the front office.
