I found Michelle on Yelp and I am SOOO GLAD I DID!! I was visiting ABQ for my 40th Birthday and I wanted to do a photo shoot. Michelle's quote was completely affordable and once I told her what sort of setting I wanted, she sent over 3-4 suggestions for location. She was on time, warm, friendly and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire shoot. She came with pose ideas and we even came across a heard of goats and Michelle asked if we could get some pictures with them and we did! Photo turn around was 4 days from my appointment and I LOVE THEM.

I cannot recommend Michelle highly enough! We were visiting from California with our 3 month old for the Balloon Fiesta and wanted to capture this special time. Michelle was fantastic to work with, very easy communication and quick turnaround time with her beautiful photos. She suggested a family shoot with the early morning sun and hot air balloons as a backdrop and then did portraits of our baby in her home studio. She was professional, has a great eye and was an expert at capturing all of our little one's smiles and expressions. Thank you!

We had a phenomenal experience with Michelle today. We booked the newborn session which also included family photos and sibling photos. She is professional, extremely pleasant and friendly. She is SO patient. My newborn was wide awake before the shoot started and she took her time...(2 hours or more) helping me get the baby to sleep (mixture of me nursing and Michelle swaying/singing to baby). Eventually baby fell into deep sleep and we got excellent, I mean excellent pictures. For the moms out there, Michelle has everything you need. She even thought of things that I never ever ever thought she would have (for example: a boppy pillow for nursing, space heater to keep newborn warm, white noise on blast to help soothe infant !). She is so very thoughtful. Michelle is a down to earth professional and I wish we could have had this experience with our first baby. Or even for our wedding or maternity photos. We found her late, but better late than never! She did just move to the area from washington earlier this year. The price is affordable for all the detail and time she takes with her clients. I would do this again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Michelle!!

Highly recommend Michelle! We were visiting from out of town for a surprise proposal for our daughter, to take place at the balloon fiesta. When I contacted Michelle about photographing the proposal she did not hesitate to respond. She was so easy to communicate with, and so down to earth. She captured the proposal perfectly and even did some extra pictures of the couple afterwards. She is amazing and her photos are beautiful!

We will be ready for our new branding release this spring. As part of preparations, we just finished our headshots shooting by my lovely client aka my favorite neighbor, Michelle Douglas! I already had many inquiries about her successful job just in 1 day! She definitely will be missed from our neighborhood and our local community, but she will be successful in any other places in the world because she is just stunning inside and out!

I came to Michelle Douglas Photography with a problem... How do you make a 60 year-old coot like me look date-worthy online? Michelle put me at ease right away, and her direction was positive and fun... She shoots with a keen eye on the surroundings, as well. Michelle and her lovely and thoughtful assistant, Bronwyn, both gave me the confidence I needed to get the job done. It's hard not to notice how well the two work together. My husband and I did pregnancy photoshoot with Michelle and she was sooo sweet and fun and made the whole experience easy and pleasant (even though it was 96 degrees and we both don't like to be photographed ). The photos turned out great, natural and beautiful. Highly recommend!!

Took Mother's Day pictures of my sister and I, Michelle was the SWEETEST NICEST person ever!! She's so awesome I loved how the pictures turned out. Thank you! My mom cried :)

Can't recommend Michelle highly enough! We found Michelle on yelp when we were looking for someone to take some wedding portraits for us since I tested positive for COVID on our wedding day unfortunately and we didn't have any photos of us without masks on. It was also a bit of a hybrid maternity shoot since I was 9 months pregnant at the time. Michelle was immediately responsive, came up with a beautiful location for the shoot, and was extremely professional, kind and excellent at setting up shots. She was especially great to work with for two people who normally don't love having their photo taken, she was full of ideas and very clear in her directions to us. We are so pleased with the results, they are breathtaking!!
