This place is wonderful I love it every time I go there is something to do the people are so nice the service is great and it is so cool and just a really good place for not only getting snacks and etc but for somewhere to relax I whole heartedly recommend.

A regular stop for drinks and snacks on the way to Taos. Also a small, but great selection of packaged liquors.I was recently reminiscing about the Tastee Freeze we had in Española when I was a kid, and was told that the former owners ran the eatery inside Michael's Mini Mart and lots of the menu items were the same. The taco fries came highly recommended. I finally got around to trying them today. I immediately recognized that familiar taste of the taco mix from taquitos I'd eat at Tastee Freez as a kid. The salsa was clearly made in-house and was very fresh. Looking forward to future meals here, I intend to get the Mexicali Burger on my next visit. I also see they added draft beer with some great local selections.

Decent on the go food. Chicharrone burrito was not very warm. They definitely use leftovers. This is the second time stopping in. I'm sure I'll be back but I'll order something different. Breakfast burrito was a but pricy for gas station food.

A big piece of road travel is planning and keeping your car fueled. Guess who did a terrible job of that? I should have filled up in Taos, but I figured there would be a station somewhere near the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. There wasn't. So here we are driving down dirt roads into the gorge and I'm looking at the gas gauge thinking "How much further can we go if I turn off the A/C?"Dumb rookie screw up but fortunately we made it to Mike's and topped off.Location, location, location! Well done, Mike.

Much more than just a gas station. They have a great grille inside that serves hamburgers, Mexican food and even pizza, and, most surprisingly, they have a handful of beers on tap! Not sure if they do growler fills, but you can sit and enjoy a pint and a burger. It is one of the last places to fill up your car north of Espanola on the way to Taos.

Mike and Alice, please stop hiring creeps to work there. You lost two everyday customers because a recent person that you hired basically asked my wife why she is there everyday. Went as far as asking her where she is from. I never did like going to La Tiendita, but have no choice but to go there now to feel safe.

OK number one the burritos are smothered with barely any chili on top they're not hot and there's no markings on it on the box to tell what type of burrito you got the chili cheese fries order is small for the price also the taste is a very good the guy offering us the food out showed us what was in there but did not tell us what burritos were which I do not recommend this place the food is not that good thank you. You call that a smothered burrito...come on

Friendly staff. Everyone always is so kind when I go. The breakfast sandwiches and burritos are pretty good! The red chile tamales taste like grandma tamales, a huge win!
