I found this place by happenstance as this was one of the few (non Starbucks) locations open at 6AM. They were able to fulfill my pretty demanding order of renting their 5 gallon and 2 gallon coffee urns in an hour turn around (+ cups, stir sticks, sugar, creamer, AND they threw in an entire oat milk creamer carton when I asked for a non-dairy alternative) all for a very reasonable price. The ambiance is so cozy and very welcoming. The three employees behind the counter were so so friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and extremely helpful. I've loved visiting this place for our large coffee orders over multiple days, and received compliments on the coffee at our event. I'd recommend this shop to anyone who lives or is visiting ABQ!

I have to update my review of Michael Thomas Coffee, after 8 years of being a fan! While I am from Fort Worth, Texas, Michael Thomas is ALWAYS the first stop for my family when we travel to ABQ. The service is friendly and welcoming. This past visit my family ordered The Tony, a Chai Latte, and a Blackberry Latte (all with oat milk). The chai was the best chai I've tasted and the blackberry latte was perfectly sweet without being overpowering. Michael Thomas makes an excellent latte and have such a cute and homey location that invites customers to stay awhile. They also have a wide selection of coffee beans for purchase and for consumption. We typically buy a bag when we are in town just so we can bring some Michael Thomas home with us.

My husband found metal shavings in his muffin. When he took the metal to the cashier, they offered him another muffin... ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

After a nice morning run in Nob Hill, a stop at the neighborhood coffee house is a must. The Cafe Americana is my favorite. Add cinnamon powder and it is perfection. Great cofre with a nice atmosphere. If you are feeling hungry there are various pastries and snacks available to choose from. When in the area, I now make a point to stop in for my coffee!

A local self-proclaimed coffee snob recommended this joint, so I asked for the richest drip but received watery normalcy in a paper cup. Am I a bigger coffee snob than the local self-proclaimed coffee snob?

Ambience was nice. People were great. The guy was very informative about the coffee beans they sell. I bought a pound of coffee and the latte I ordered was perfect because I'm pretty specific with cinnamon mixed in light splash of vanilla light foam and it was a smooth, very smooth cup of coffee definitely will be returning when I'm through the area.

Enjoyed the aesthetic of the coffee shop. One side you have an open area surrounded by plants, perfect for summer and spring. Then you have the inside of the shop which looks like it use to be a home. Very cozy, homey vibes. Bathroom was extremely clean which is a major plus. Now the coffee, this place is one of the only places in New Mexico to have an espresso tonic. Perfect balanced and their syrups didn't over power the espresso shot. They are ahead of the game compared to most coffee shops out here. Espresso flavors have been great in their espresso tonic and lattes. The coffee flavors they produce demonstrate they aren't simply burning their coffee beans. Their baristas don't overly milk their drinks and they actually do an amazing job at texturing their milk. Overall, top tier quality in coffee and creativity in what they produce.

Visiting Albuquerque for work and found this coffee shop. I got an iced vanilla latte with honey and tried the tomato basil quiche. The latte was a bit sweet but I still enjoyed it. The baristas were very nice and clearly love what they do. Definitely give it a try!

Sorry, but not sorry! First time, and my drinks were not good. My latte was like warmed up milk, and the cappuccino was cold. Not to mention they were both expensive.
