MG Stone & Cabinets

I recently purchased marble for a vanity. Staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Extremely happy with the finished product. I had looked around at other places and found the quality and value to be the best.I would recommend this business to everyone.

MG Stone redid my kitchen cabinets and counter tops (I live in Santa Fe but it was worth the trip). Ivy was incredibly helpful with the design and gave great advice on what would look good, work best, and what to avoid. She and a designer came to my house to double check our measurements, and I was glad they did because the design had to change. Their installation fee is very reasonable. Some of the doors came warped but MG Stone quickly replaced them with no hassle when I pointed it out.

Great work and great prices. Cabinets took longer than usual in this COVID year. However, they delivered when estimated. One item was damaged and they replaced it without any issues. Would buy from them again.

Deana ensured our granite shopping experience was extremely positive. She did not rush us or try to upsale either. She knows the stone business and shares her wisdom freely, politely and is a very respectful manager.The variety in patterns and prices represent great value.

While I had had several prior excellent experiences ordering countertops and cabinets from MG Stone & Cabinets for some other houses, we just completed (Oct. 2020) some upgrades for our own kitchen. As always Ivy Li and Deana VonFox were extraordinarily knowledgeable, competent, friendly, helpful, and patient with us as we worked our way through the many options available to us, and, also as always, the value (very high quality at very reasonable prices) was excellent! However, the final work product (from the remarkable beauty of the stone to the meticulous attention to detail in the installation) far exceeded our already very high expectations! Well done, MG Stone & Cabinets! I recommend them with as many stars for excellence as I'm allowed to use!

Run, go somewhere else for a granite install. There are plenty of other granite people here in Albuquerque. My install had some custom work and it was way over their head and MG did not admit to it. After they took my deposit and after they cut the stone, they stated that they could not cut into my cabinets to put the brackets because they didn't want liability. I therefore had to do the brackets myself, without any knowledge. I would have gone somewhere else, but they had already took my deposit and cut the stone, when they admitted to not being able to install the brackets. Also, I still have a half drilled hole in the granite that they did not finish because the drill bit did not work, and the granite has not been property adhered to the cabinets. Deanna has been very condescending regarding the way she would talk to me, when I wanted this completed. It was an overall bad experience. Again, there are plenty of other places in Albuquerque. RUN!

I love my granite counter tops. This was a wonderful experience working with everyone at MG Stone from start to finish. The installers were very professional. My only suggestion is there should be a better way of selecting the granite slabs to allow the customer to see the entire slab before making the selection.
