Meso Grill

This review is just for their Turkish delights, and they are amazing. They've got three different flavors, and I tried the pistachio one and the pomegranate (third is rose, but I'm just not a rose fan). Both were fresh and flavorful, and the chew to the Turkish delights was perfect. Love getting these little bites when I'm at Sawmill!

Great addition to the eating hall! Filling and nutritious. I would pass on the Turkish coffee, however. Worth it to sit and dine on the patio!

Awesome place!Great food selections from various restaurants.The atmosphere is very laid back and chill. People eating and enjoying each others company.Parking was kinda tough. Had to park a bit far from the place, but it was worth time.I tried Mesa Grill and their service and food was great. Would def go back!

Excellent. My husband and I were having difficulty deciding where to have New Year's Day lunch. We stopped by one of our favorites, it was closed. So we decided to come to Saw Mill Market. Wandered around for awhile, came around the corner of Meso and saw our good friend from Anatolias downtown (no longer there). We had often pondered about where he was, after closing his great Turkish restaurant. So, of course , we ordered. We each had our favorite chicken donner. Some baklava on the side.It was excellent! We expected nothing less. We are over the moon happy that we've found "Anatolias" again! Yay for Meso and us. What a great way to start the new year!

Sawmill Market is so cute and love all the different options. Came in a bit late so the places I wanted to try were already closed. Decided to give Meso Grill a try and ordered the Chicken plate. I love to support local if I can so I'm so sad to say it was horrible. The chicken was hard and rubbery, the rice tasted off, the pita bread was hard and the tzatziki sauce was watery. I was only in town for a day and so sad to have had this experience. I did try a sample of the baklava and that was pretty good. Overall do yourself a favor and try something else, there are a lot of options and for the price your better off getting fast food. I ended up throwing half of it away, wish I could get my money back. Others seem to have had a better experience, perhaps earlier in the day it is better. My food seemed old.

Hummus was the best I've ever had but I had to really pile it on the pita in order to finish it; would have been nice to have a least one more pita with it or some veggies.Definitely an appetizer size - I can often order a hummus plate to fill me up but I was still hungry after this.

Being gluten free, I was head over heels to see that they had gluten free baklava. My husband and I drove out of our way so that I could indulge, only to have my hopes dashed. I noticed when I walked up that they had tape over the pricing for the gluten free baklava and asked the cashier when they might have it back in stock. The cashier told me they would likely not ever be bringing it back. Wounded by their words, I walked away empty handed.

Love Sawmill Market and decided to try Meso Grill today! Service was friendly and quick. I got the Falafel plate! And it was delicious the falafels were just perfect! Great flavor and texture. Comes with hummus, Tzatziki sauce, and one other sauce that I'm not sure what it's called. A side salad, flat bread and rice. All were delicious and flavored well! Will for sure get again!

So much to consider at Sawmill, but I made a good choice here. I had the falafel plate which did not disappoint. The grilled hatch chili and tomato on the side were awesome and the presentation alone turned a shabby metal tin into a colorful and decorative feast! The hummus and tzatziki were so so but the rest made up for it. The Greek salad had a lot of acid in the dressing so blending with the falafel helped. I'd go back!

This restaurant is in Sawmill Market. I love the ambiance and the location of this place. The staff and service were fantastic. The food was amazing.
