We were greeted by Isaiah at the door and he took us through the process of purchasing our next vehicle. He showed us the two we wanted to see in-person (we first viewed them on-line at home). Then we test drove the one that we really liked. We went back to his office space where, of course, we signed the many required forms. Isaiah was very personable, a good listener and was happy to clarify things as we went through the process.Derek finished the purchase by us with the financing. He was a kind person with a sense of humor.

I do not recommend Melloy Ford in the slightest. I already had a truck in the process at another place until one of their sales people called me, so I decided to give this guy a chance and canceled my vehicle I was already in the process of buying. I gave the guy until Wednesday as I'm moving to Idaho Monday. He did well at first. Found a vehicle, got all the stuff done, and then Wednesday came around and he asked if we could push back me picking up the truck because he said "all it needs is to be hit up in detailing" I said yeah no problem Friday works for me. So we set up an appointment for Friday at 6 pm. I live in Las Cruces so it's not a short drive. Friday rolls around and I'm getting ready to leave to head to las lunas on my 2 1/2 hour drive and the salesman messages me and says there's an emergency and asks if we can reschedule for the next day. It's pushing close to my deadline but yeah sure. Saturday comes, I leave las cruces and drive all the way to Melloy Ford where, once again, I had an appointment scheduled to trade in my car and get a truck, i text the salesman and let him know I'll be about 10 min late but heard nothing back. Roll into Melloy ford and the gates are closed, text the salesman, call the salesman and there's no answer. So as I'm fixing to leave to drive another 3 hours back to las cruces, the salesman calls and tells me they closed 30 minutes early and he forgot to tell me. Then he asks if I can give him until Monday, as my truck that i was purchasing needed a new fuel pump and it was in the shop getting one installed. First- nothing was ever said to me about needing a new fuel pump, which isn't a huge deal to me, those things go out it happens, but I was never told about it, so that was being kept from me in. Second- from day one i told this guy i have a new job im starting and i have to leave Monday to move to Idaho, i can not push it back. It was very clear. He asks me to give him until Monday which i reply with I can't, im leaving Monday, that was what we talked about, that was the whole deal with this all. So he said right, I'll get you that truck tomorrow, I'm not gonna make you drive to las lunas again, I'll figure something out and get back to you. This was at 6:30 pm, i drove all the way home, didn't hear from the guy. So i texted him at 9:30 and said "i appreciate all the hard work but i have to pack by 2 pm tomorrow, will i have a truck to pack it into" didn't hear from the guy. It's now 2 pm the next day and haven't heard a word. Their customer service salesmen are horrible. They'll leave you hanging and screw you. Now, my plans are messed up, as i was supposed to pick up a camper on the way to Idaho. Can't do that in a car. And if you think i should have started my truck shopping a long time ago. I started in March, and gave Melloy a chance, I regret it. There's texts and messages to back all this up as well. They don't care about you, they're not honest, and they don't keep appointments. Appreciate it Melloy Ford, you screwed me big time. And Melloy Ford, don't even comment underneath this saying "At Melloy we care about customer service and satisfaction, you should give us a call and figure this out." Because you have made it so stupidly clear you do not care about customer service or satisfaction. Seriously, if you're reading this go to a small buy here pay here lot before you even think of going to Melloy. You'll probably have a better experience. Heck you'd have a better experience buying a vehicle off Facebook. And we all know how terrible that is.

I will begin this review by stating my conclusion, for those of you who do not want to read the full review. I will never go anywhere else for a vehicle, ever. Melloy Ford in Los Lunas, NM has secured my business forever. 5 stars does not do them justice. If you are looking for a new vehicle, or to have your vehicle serviced, whatever the case may be, you can let out a sigh of relief now, because you can halt your search. You will find that not a single person here, from the receptionist at the front, to the GM Mike, has anything other than your best interests in mind. The second you walk through those doors, you are treated like family. For those of you reading on, I know. Can a dealership really be as good as this guy says? Let me tell my story, and let you decide for yourself. It's a bit of a read, but I promise it's worth it. Recently, I had the absolute worst turn of luck EVER. I had just finished paying off my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport, and was ready to trade it in for a new F-150. I had my Jeep appraised, and was offered $32,199.00 for it. Amazing, but before I could trade, I needed to take over the title from my mom (a task I had been putting off until I was ready to trade). Well, I went to get the title, and was informed I needed a NM insurance policy first (I'm from Michigan, and had a MI policy). After sitting on hold at the DMV for an hour to try and speak with an agent, I finally decided to just go online and set up a quick, temporary one. I entered my vehicle info, and allowed the website to recommend a policy for me based on that info. I accepted it and went on my way, but what I was unaware of, was the fact that because my Jeep was paid off, it gave me a policy with NO collision coverage....A policy w/o collision coverage doesn't even exist in MI where I'm from, but apparently it does here. LITERALLY 2 days later, I got in my first accident ever, and it was my fault. My Jeep was totaled. The airbag went off and the frame was crunched into the shape of a triangle. In a second, my 10-year long, perfect driving record was ruined, and because I had just taken out this new policy, have a NM license, and just got a NM registration, my MI policy with all of the coverage was not able to help me at all.....you heard that right. I got NOTHING for my Jeep that was just appraised at $32k, despite having an active policy with great coverage at the time of the accident. I was completely crushed. I was now looking at getting 4k - 5k at a salvage yard if I was lucky.Melloy Ford was recommended by a coworker/mentor of mine. I went there and explained what had happened, and that I could no longer afford a new truck like I had wanted. We looked at a used one that I could afford, and although heart-broken, I was going to get it. Before we closed on the deal however, Otis Morehead (Sales Associate), his boss Stan, and Hunter Smith (financial manager) all got together, and because they sympathized with my situation, they took a huge financial hit to send me home with the brand new truck that I instantly loved, but couldn't afford. They offered to buy my Jeep from me for $10k, even though they looked at it and realized it was probably only worth half of that. They didn't stop there. They then gave me a huge discount, AND cut the 6k mark-up they had on all new trucks in half....they also threw in a bunch of free stuff with the new truck. When it was all said and done, they lost probably $15k - $20k on a new truck that would've sold at full price the following day, AND they missed out on a second sale of one of their used trucks. They did all of this for me, even though they didn't know me at all. When I say you are treated like family, I am not exaggerating in the slightest. This is what separates Melloy Ford from every other dealership I've ever been to. Helping me out the way that they did, by picking me up when I was down, was an extremely intelligent business move. This is something that I will never forget. By caring about quality over profit, they have gained a lifetime customer and ally. Years from now, when I am very up, they will reap the benefits. That, I can promise.

I posted a negative review in June, and want to withdraw it, but the 30 day time limit has passed. I purchased a 2019 Fusion in October 2019, and was treated extremely well. Some people were let go and some were hired back. Mr. Melloy is seen there nearly every day and this dealership is worthy of your trust. I just voted with my dollars again.

I'd been looking online for a Ford Transit Connect van and even seriously considered driving up to Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs to buy one I saw. After several conversations with the Sales manager there, he just stopped communicating with me--even after I had made overtures to go there and make a purchase with them. So unbelievable that a dealership would turn away business like that! Thankfully they were jerks that left me looking for another option and vehicle. After several more dead end dealerships in the Albuquerque area, I then found just what I wanted at Melloy Ford in Los Lunas. What an easy wonderful experience!!! Sales Manager Mike Raaff is the BEST. So easy to deal with and so easy to get ahold of. Sales rep Jonathan Chavez was great too. I'd urge any potential Ford buying customer to go to Los Lunas and deal with these people. They made it so easy.Disclaimer: I did not know any of these people, I'd never been to Los Lunas and do not own stock in this company!!!

In Los Lunas, we received great customer service from ALL the staff except for the Finance Manager Derrick - snide, arrogant, MISINFORMING, and rude!!! Our questions were answered CURTLY, we were treated with DISREGARD. We will be in the market for another vehicle soon but because of his work ethic we will gladly take our business elsewhere! I wonder if Derricks supervisor is aware of this?
