The food was delicious at medley. Our server was very attentive to our table. Service was quick and we got seated immediately, having a reservation before hand. Our food came out fast with everything tasting delicious.

Pretty middle of the road. Nothing outstanding, nothing bad. Finally found a place that could pour a decent beer. I do feel this is probably the closest value for the food served we've had so far in town. It's still a little on the pricey side but they execute well enough for it to match. I do feel like the hostess could use some training. Didn't seem like the type of place to need a reservation but apparently the locals love this place. Practically berated for being there without a reservation. We saw two spots open at the bar while she was mid temper tantrum so we sat ourselves.

On a recommendation from a local, we went "out of the city" to dine at Medley tonight. So glad we did, it was great, worthy of the praise online! Aaron was our waiter, he did a great job... thanks Aaron... attentive but not intrusive! We started with cocktails of course, a Tanqueray martini, very good, and we swapped out a lesser cocktail for the Mesa Breeze. Cocktails were good!On the menu, we started with the tomato and peach soup and the crispy crab wontons... the soup was good, not the flavor explosion we expected, and the crab wontons were what you'd get at your neighborhood Chinese restaurant... good but not great... not a knock against Medley, they were just average...Up next we had the lamb chops! Now we're talking... we paid to have the extra chop added to the order (we got two a piece), and they were off the charts good! We also had the white shrimp small plate which was divine... yum! We discussed just having more chops to end the meal, but we decided against that... tempting as it was! We opted for the Dorado entree, which was delicious. The fish was a bit over cooked and dry, but the other parts of the dish evened that out. It was good! For dessert we opted for the profiterole trio... which was delicious! A cool thing about Medley is that they had an afillated wine shop next door. You can go there and pick your wine and it will be delivered to your table with a modest corkage fee... very nice! We had a nice white from France which was a great value and delicious! A good dinner! Recommend Medley if you're in the area!

Magnificent. Marvelous. Medley! We got there by the hair of our chinny chin chin at 8:50 pm. Even though the kitchen was closing at 9 pm (Oh Em Gee - 10 minutes!), staff was kind enough to feed us b/c we had one crazy-ass long day! Friend and I ordered cocktails - signature Medley Marg which is spicy b/c of cumin salt & Watermelon Marg. I thought my cocktail would be totally sweet, not realizing it features habanero AND jalapeño. Yowza! Bartender kindly topped it off w/ more sweet watermelon juice. Hit the spot. My dinner featured a melange of Pan-Seared Wild Bay Scallops on a sweet potato puree bed w/ broccolini. Friend ordered Tacos of the Day - Sword Fish - and the Simple Arugula Salad. Our food may have been simple but top notch ingredients and presentation! What an exquisite ending to the day, finishing our drinks on the patio, admiring the moon. I look forward to next time I'm in Taos, when we can sit and linger and drink and visit here again. Thanks for the hospitality Medley!

Medley mucked up our reservation but then wouldn't accommodate us in their restaurant. The manager, who was rude and condescending, said they'd place us on the wait list for the bar, but only when we arrived. After a long drive and no alternative we turned up and had a short wait to get a table in the bar area. Ironically, the restaurant was dead and empty while the bar was hopping. They had a decent happy hour menu. We also sampled a number of dishes from the main menu. The black bean soup was the only decent dish. The arugula salad was dull, as others have mentioned. The baby cauliflower was greasy and they'd used cheap oils. The stuffed eggplant included an ingredient that I was allergic to, which wasn't listed clearly on the menu. Everything was totally overpriced. Finally, they added a hidden charge after we'd received our check. We wouldn't come here again and don't recommend this place. Taos has too many good restaurants to offer.

I have given medley so many chances in the past ten years plus, but they continually maintain their snobby attitude. I hadn't been there in about a year and decided to meet a friend there. He got there first and they were not happy. When my husband and I arrived they were not happy about that either. The one person that was nice to us there is Native. I feel that is worth mentioning because I am not white and neither is the friend I met there. I hate PC culture and I'm not trying to sound like a whiny b*** , but aside from the nice Native man I can't say I was welcomed at Medley. I thought that maybe Medley had improved their service since I hadn't dined in for a while, but sadly I was wrong. I have come to the conclusion that Medley overall is classist and racist. As long as you are wealthy and white you are welcome. They tout themselves as fine dining which is laughable. I just went to Lambert's and guess what they ARE fine dining. They are also incredibly kind and welcoming. So much so that I had to come here and compare the difference.

Went with my Sales Team while visiting Taos. They have a full bar and the food was very good. We started with several appetizers: The Bread Plate, Crispy Truffle Fries with Aioli, Brussel Sprouts w/Parmesian & Bacon and Sushi Grade Tuna Ahi Tartare on Tostada. All were really good! I had the Braised Beef Short Rib w/Garlic Mash (HUGE!) and my team had the Grilled Scottish Salmon and Pasta Schiaffoni. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and our Server - Jupiter, was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. Bar drinks were all made well and good selection of Beer and Wine. We had a very pleasant meal. I would recommend!

Food was excellent but I'd really like to focus on the stunning desert that we shared. I will assume that there's a trained pastry chef since the desert was on par with a four star Michelin experience. Attention to detail such as the beautiful tempering of the chocolate shell and the plating of the lava cake was on point. As an amateur baker I was seriously impressed. I would like to apologize to the chef that delivered the desert to our table since one of my dinner companions did not express herself correctly and was misinterpreted; she thought she was being funny and didn't understand how her comments were sounding.

Those lamb chops!!! Heaven help us! I'd fly back to Taos one day just for this crunchy, juicy, charred, delectable chops! The mac and cheese and lemon cake is also delicious but these could the greatest lamb chops. This was our best meal in all of New Mexico. If you're in this state, make sure to visit, grab a table outside. and feast on those chops and anything else you crave. 5 stars!!!
