First, I'd like to review the tech. The tech - Luiz Otero was fantastic, kind, did a great job, and definitely made me feel educated about my new water heater and his install. If I were only rating him, he'd get 5 stars.Second, I'd like to rate the business. I will note I have no idea who is at fault for this one. It's possible I wrote the wrong number down or it's possible they quoted me one thing and went to charge me another. Either way, they did give me a small discount to try to meet me in the middle on the price. I'm still $200 over budget, but it's better than $300 over budget. They did come quickly, got me in today. That was nice! Luiz was, again, a complete pleasure to work with and the job looks good to me. We'll see if anything happens. If I don't update my review, then all went well with the water heater.

We have been without air conditioning since June 24th, and our AC system is only three years old. I remember making a significant investment in this company, believing that they were a quality company. After letting them know that our AC went out, they took a week to send someone out who told us they would be back to replace the motor either right before July 4th or that Monday directly after. Here we are on the 15th of July with no news about when our situation will be resolved. They have given us several stories as to what they would do: replace the motor, motor on backorder; we found one, we need a harness, we will change the module, to now nothing. We now have to cancel a trip to see our grandchildren because our housesitter should not be subject to extreme heat inside the house.

When you call their number, you will hear a real woman's voice in a hurry "may I direct you call?". It sounds like they have a big operation. No, they don't. No matter what you say, she will put you to a voice message that no one can really understand well. I am not sure they are in a serious business. I have spend $1200 for a problem of my HAVAC unit, that still exists.So, be patient and make sure you have enough savings.

I'm in need of new water heater and since I'm a Home Depot customer I wanted to purchase a new water heater and installation, well after having to deal with inexperienced customer service representative at MCS for the last week was awful. I had to get a correct quote from their competitors. I kept asking for a tech to come out to measure but she claimed they do not do that. They were going to set up an appointment to install a 19" and kept telling her it's not the right size. She is rude and unfortunately I will not do business with this company because she knows more than the customer. And by the way it's an 18" not a 19". If I allowed this company to work on my house I still would be without water another week. Note: the employees you have answering your phone and first contact makes a good impression on your company or it doesn't. I do not recommend this company.

MCS installed our Lennox mini-split heating/cooling system a few years ago to replace electric baseboard heaters throughout our home. Today, Kevin and Diego came to service the system. We are very pleased with the thoroughness of their work and with the pleasant interchanges we had with them while here. We highly recommend MCS.

I am so disappointed/disgusted with with this company. Several calls to fix on thing or another. After this last attempt to correct an issue bottom line is that it will cost me an additional $1600 to MAYBE fix the problem. The motor burned out and I was told that it was no longer under warranty and if I wanted one I needed to either wait 7 days or pay for the rush fee along with paying for a new motor. I actually had to do some investigative work myself to find out that the motor was still under warranty and they had plenty in stock! Now after this last attempt to fix another issue it's an extra 1600 and no guarantees. Your call if you so choose to use this company.

They don't answer their phone or call you back when you've left multiple messages. If they can't even do that, take that as a reflection of their customer service in all other areas. Save yourself the frustration -- do not use them!

After our longtime heating/cooling/plumbing company decided to stop offering 24/7 service, we reluctantly decided to find another company. A friend recommended MCS. Our first obstacle was trying to reach someone on the phone. A menu offered us options, none of which was clearly for new customers. I chose the number that seemed most likely to apply to us. There was no answer, so I left a message with my name, number, and reason for calling. After a week of hearing nothing, I tried again. This time I got someone. She explained the company did offer 24/7 service, and like our former company, offered a contract essentially making us preferred customers. In fact, they offer three grades of service. The person we spoke with (I'll call her Eve) sent us a copy of the contract options by email. My wife and I settled on one and I emailed Eve back saying we were ready to sign up and asking the next step. After waiting five days and hearing nothing back, I resent the email. After two days of not hearing anything back, I called the 888-1616 number. One of the options is a directory; I had Eve's name from the email, I got her direct number from the directory and called and left a message. After hearing nothing back, I called again the next day, only to get a message that the wireless customer I was calling was not available and to please try my call later. No voicemail option.As I scroll down recent Yelp entries about MCS, I notice the most recent one cite either poor customer phone service or an inability to get hold of anyone at all. Besides this post, I'm going to mail this review to the company (I'm sorry I don't know who the owner is) and I'm going to find a different company. Again, I regret losing our old company, but in my first five out of six contacts with MSC tell me this is not a desirable replacement.

Would give 0 stars if possible. This company use to be fast, responsive, reliable and honest. It is now under new management and I can not say that it holds those values any longer. Had made an appointment for a repair with this company and waited for them to arrive, no show and no call for an update. Called them myself and was told they would arrive later that evening. They arrived late and could not do any repairs due to the parts store was closed. Then was charged over 100 dollars for a visit that took 10 mintues. Why come to an appointment for a repair when you won't be repairing the appliance? I do not recommend this company to anyone, I recommend you take your business else where. They seem to be understaffed. They will come on here asking me to call them with my experience and concerns. But their call center and customer service is horrible as well. You are lucky if they pick up the phone or get a call back.
