These folks are honest and dependable. My wife and I bought a car and this company was referred to us by the previous owner of the vehicle. Our muffler was cut off by a thief while my wife at work. Mbs did the job quickly and efficient, and they gave us a great price. Within a couple hours we had our car up and running and sounding great! We are so happy to find such honest and dependable mechanics with a friendly and helpful attitude...... We will be back!

They were recommended by the parts store, then I go twice for different work the last mechanic wanted to do and both times they say I don't need the work. Now it's been 3 months... they were right, my car is fine! Saved me about $4000. I did have them redo the brakes and they did a fantastic job and reasonableprice.

This is the only place I will take my mechanic work to. Mike and his team are real pros, and they treat customers with honesty and fairness. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I needed my muffler hangers repaired. Got a fast appointment, and upon inspection they discovered the pipe was bent. They welded new pipe onto muffler, fixed hangers and price was as quoted.Very friendly staff, honest service and easy to get appointment. Will definitely use them again as they also do tune ups, oil change, brakes, front end alignments.

My experience with MBS has been long and very happy. They are very knowledgeable and informative. Most businesses never bother to contact you with estimates or completion times. Mike at MBS always updates me with costs and when the work will be done. I am a paraplegic and having my cars done right and within my budget is vital. While I like to do as much work as I can on my cars there is some work that is just too difficult and Mike has always been very helpful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MBS. The cost of repair may seem high but the quality of work performed has always been exceptional. My experience with this shop compared to others places them at a standard much higher and the customer service is exemplary. Don't waste time with those who claim to be "mechanics". Take your car to MBS in Rio Rancho.

I am very satisfied with the service that this shop provides. I have been taking my vehicles here for the past ten plus years! The best thing about this shop is they do not try and "pull one over on you." I have been to places that do that and I make sure to let people know to never go to certain shops in Albuquerque. If I cannot fix my vehicle on my own, this is the only shop I would ever take my vehicle to.

MBS is phenomenal in all regards! We were traveling across country and our engine light started blinking when we were near Albuquerque. They fit us in first thing the next day, diagnosed the problem, and had it repaired by 1:30 PM. They were so kind, honest and professional. Our truck has never run better! We are very grateful to everyone at MBS!

My husband took our truck down to have a coil and spark plug checked, come to find out that wasn't the problem. We've been coming to MBS for about 8 years and wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else. Mike and Keith are great, they're honest and don't try and tell you something is wrong when it's not. Excellent customer service. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would.

I brought my Mazda Miata to Mbs for a water pump due to an anti-freeze leak. Mbs claimed it needed a water pump + timing belt - fair enough. They charged $900.13 with tax. Soon thereafter I needed brakes and took it to Mbs. They claimed all 4 rotors + pads needed to be replaced. I took my car from Mbs, went to another mechanic who laughed and said the back rotors are good for 2-3 more pad replacements (several years) and then did all the pads and front rotors for $210. The mechanic who works on Mazdas, BMWs and some other foreign cars said he would have charged $250-$300 for the timing belt and water pump. He said that changing those on a Mazda Miata is so easy and takes little more than 1 hour. Mbs charged for 4.5 hours labor and a hefty overcharge for parts. I have never felt so taken by a mechanic in 38 years of driving. Mbs does good work and used to be fair, but since attaining bus company repair contracts (and for whatever other reasons) their prices have doubled. I have never written a negative Yelp review nor reported a business to the Better Business Bureau; I am doing both. seriously, do not take your car to Mbs.
