20 Days after bad filler technique
This is the facial I paid $65 for. When I bought it, it was supposedly $65 for a $125 facial which actually only costs $75 at Mayberry.
Dr.Mayberry and staff made me feel very comfortable. Shocked by the results in just one session.Looking forward to the end results.

Dr Mayberry & his staff were very friendly, personable and informative. I received a lot of realistic information regarding the services and results I hope to achieve. I highly recommend them. I feel very comfortable and confident with his level of expertise and that of his highly qualified staff. His office is modern and great uptown location. There are some services that are done in office and others done at the hospital. His prices are fair and realistic.

Rude staff, unclean office, and completely disrespectful. I paid 50.00 for a consult a didn't even get to speak with the doctor. The assistant I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. She made it a point to repeatedly tell me that I had too much fat for my desired surgery and that I need to get multiple surgeries instead. I understand that I need work which is why I approached the clinic. However, highlighting "how fat" I am could have been done in a much kinder way. My concerns were not addressed. I scheduled with the plastic surgery institute instead and the difference has been significant. Polite manners and kindness go a long way. Lacking such things has cost the Mayberry clinic a patient.

I have called 3 weeks in a row trying to receive information to set up a consultation. Consultations are only discussed on Wednesday's and as each Wednesday passed without an email or phone, I finally gave up trying. The woman who works the phone interrupts and cuts you off.

I recently had a procedure done by Dr. Mayberry and I cannot express enough how happy/excited I am with the results. He's a true artist, very personable, and always took time to answer my questions. His staff is amazing and very friendly as well. I was nervous going into this but after my first consultation I knew immediately he was the right doctor, after already having several other consultations. I had a botched surgery in my 20's and was looking for someone who could help me. I never thought I'd have the results I do after my surgery. I knew what he was fixing wasn't going to be easy. As seen in the attached photo the botched gynecomastia surgery by Dr. Mayberry left me with a deformed chest that causes me daily depression every time I see It. As I later learned from online research and consultations with other surgeons my chest deformities are the result of Dr. Mayberry's failure to follow the fundamental rule of gynecomastia surgery which requires that some tissue be left in order to maintain some shape and support the breasts. Instead, (as Dr. Mayberry actually boasted about) he removed ALL of the tissue which left me with large indented areas known as craters along with significant sagging folds of skin. Although I have had two costly subsequent surgeries by two different gynecomastia specialists they made only modest improvements because of the difficulty of undoing the damage once it has been done. To date, I have spent more than $25,000 on the three surgeries. Looking back I now realize that there were red flags of Dr. Mayberry's incompetence for this type of surgery. At my final consultation the day before my surgery Dr. Mayberry casually mentioned that he only had one person who was unhappy with his surgery. He claimed that actually it was not the patient who was unhappy with his result but that it was his girlfriend. He also said another patient lost all feelings in his nipples after the surgery but that the patient did not care. After he completely botched my surgery I find Dr. Mayberry's comments downplaying the dissatisfaction of those other patients not credible. Now that I know of Dr. Mayberry's disregard of the fundamental rule of gynecomastia surgery I suspect he has had other patients who have had bad results.Finally, in addition to his incompetence Dr. Mayberry's arrogance and inability to admit any mistakes was very offputting. In a visit after my surgery when I pointed out the various crater areas he was defensive and hostile and immediately shot back "that's because you came here and told me you wanted all that tissue taken out!" I did not say that nor would I have presumed to say any such thing. I came to him to see if I was a good candidate for gynecomastia surgery and after he assured me that I was I left the manner and performance of the surgery to his professional judgment and skill. Unfortunately I learned the hard way that my trust in his competence was completely unwarranted.

I find it amazing that Dr. Mayberry could never bothered to schedule a follow up or return my calls immediately after the procedure when things went badly, but can respond to reviews online. I am also disappointed about the false claims made by this provider in response to my post, as follows:-COVID 19 wasn't a factor in this clinic abandoning me after a bad outcome- I had my procedure one month before any state shut downs or before COVID was being discussed as a serious threat. I had my procedure in person, and called the clinic about the bad outcome the next day. The numerous calls weren't returned by Dr. Mayberry. The rude receptionist (Nicole) who called back was in fact still in the office working normally, no COVID shutdown or issues at the clinic and just kept saying the numbness would go away in a couple days. Of course, the nubness because it turned out severe nerve damage, per the doctor I had to seek out on my own because I didn't receive follow up care from Mayberry or his clinic. -Dr Mayberry hopes my "symptoms" have resolved. I have diagnosed nerve damage which may not resolve at all. Obviously I posted that I still have arm numbness months after this procedure, so this is not a normal outcome at all and the "symptoms" have not resolved. Mayberry would know this if he had bothered to follow up and further assist me in finding a course of treatment, as he is required to do as a licensed physician. Abandoning patients is not part of the standard of care he is required to follow.-Miradry may likely be safe for those who know how to use it. If the person was so well trained as Mayberry claims, why couldn't she turn on the machine, figure out how to apply the templates, ensure the machine worked correctly throughout the procedure? Why did severe nerve damage result if it is so safe? There is medical literature nerve damage with Miradray, why it occurs and how to ensure it doesn't happen. Mayberry's clinic was obviously ignorant in how to prevent the nerve damage that happened in my case.
