Helpful and knowledgeable staff know all the details about the products. Curated selection of jewelry has modern and alternative pieces that are a contrast to the native american jewelry sold in the nearby shops. I found a beautiful beaded pair of earrings.

Fun time at Maya with friends trying on unique jewelry, shoes and dresses. Pricing is "Santa Fe High" but if you find something you love, splurge! Very sweet shopkeepers who helped me find the perfect gift for a friend back home. Don't miss the sale items downstairs!

Love everything I've ever gotten here. Clothing and jewelry. Never the buyers remorse. Their items all have just a little something extra and are well made. Awesome jewelry too. They are items I actually wear. They don't just sit in my closet. I always get compliments on my items from there as wellReasonable prices. I like the floor staff, fun and friendly. I love how it fits right in to SoCo in Austin, TX. Good vibes in there. I wish they could put another one North as well:)

I bought a skirt, two pair of silver hoops, and a cap on July 6. Cute store, cute items, but I felt like the owner/sales assistant didn't trust my 11year old daughter and me. Perhaps it was just her personality, but I felt like she was following us around the store in an unfriendly manner. Even at checkout, I felt like the two ladies were looking down their noses at me. I am short, so it's possible they truly were looking down on me, ha ha.I spent $113 in this store and I just came across my receipt where I noticed that I was charged the same price for both pair of earrings. However, one pair were smaller than the others and were tagged $1.25 less than the larger pair. I was charged the higher price for both. It was probably an oversight, but I started thinking about being overcharged and how unfriendly the staff were and I was prompted to write a review. Wish I could give a higher rating.

Beautiful store and amazing staff!! We were in Santa Fe as we do every year to spend a weekend away and discovered Maya. I fell in love with so many items including a beautiful shawl which they unfortunately didn't have in stock so after exchanging my information and after two weeks @ Carol: emailed me to say she found the shall for me. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW "OVER THE TOP" TERRIFIC IT WAS THAT YOU MADE SUCH AN EFFORT TO FIND THE SHAWL!!! Highly recommend this store and all the beautiful things they have.Thank you!!

This store reminded me of the local jewelry stores in Scottsdale. They offer a wide-variety of all things New Mexico and it's a perfect shop to get some touristy gifts for you or your loved ones. I left with a bracelet and some other fun finds. The pricing was pretty reasonable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Whether you need jewelry, NM food products or touristy finds, this is a good spot to visit.

Two words: In. Love. Ok, so I was in Santa Fe for 3 days and I ended up at Maya 5 times. I love the funky style this store exudes. Everything from eco-friendly household items to Day of the Dead artwork to funky messenger bags to unique local designer clothing with an edgy twist.

Very, very cute store and I am glad that I stepped in for a second look. And they are too, as I left with quite a bit of stuff. I purchased some funky pants, a sun dress that were on sale and a little present for my friend, who just recently got married. I was really impressed with wide range of unique little gifts this store offers and the prices are pretty reasonable considering your right near the plaza of santa fe and everything seems pretty costly. I was also impressed with the jewelry. . . it was really gorgeous. I was VERY tempted to buy a necklace that was made by a local artist, but it was over $100 dollars, a bit out of my reach(not to mention I already had a basket filled with items) but it was quite particular and maybe they will have it when I come back ... maybe.. maybe? AND maybe it will even be on SALE! ok now I am stretching it .... @Jill W. -I loved their day of the dead stuff too !!

What a fantastic shop with a great variety of gifts and clothing! The personnel are just lovely, helpful and very accommodating. I always bring my out of town guests when we go shopping- and they always find something they love. Mariana, the manager, has been very responsive on the one occasion that I had an issue with a purchase. Maya is my favorite go-to!

Although, I certainly understand that the return policy is altered by the current virus situation. I believe there should be a big sign about the policy of no returns or EXCHANGES and that all sales are FINAL. This is the only store that I have found that doesn't allow a person to at least exchange for a different size. I bought a dress and because of the cut, I was in-between sizes. I made the best determination that I could at the time of the purchase. I got it home and really had a better view of it and decided that it was a bit too big. If I would have known the policy and had it been reinforced by staff, I would have not bought the dress.
