Martin Luther King Jr Elementary School

My kids both go to this school. The teachers are great and so is the administrative team. Always ranked in the top 5 of the metro area, I feel good about the education my children are getting. Public schools can be hard - I feel like my kids get what they need and are well adjusted.

okay, so i go to this school as of right now. the teachers are always strict. even during 1st my teacher was pretty darn strict. and some are even pulling off the "the beel does not dismiss you i dismiss you" whats the point of the bell? keeping us for like 10 mins in class after the bell because we "didn't clean ALL of the trash" our parents would be pretty worried. but it's fine.

This school is a parents worst nightmare!!. They play favorites with the children. My daughter just started kindergarten this year. Already it's been horrible. She comes home beatup, nearly everyday. She is being bullied, and the teachers and staff there are doing nothing about it. She gets punched in the stomache. Pushed down, etc. She tells the teacher,but nothing gets done. She comes home with injuries everyday. The school is a joke!!!. Keep your child as far away from this school as you can!!
