Love this place such beautiful atmosphere. Great salsa and bean dip. Everything has been delicious here shrimp tacos, shrimp Santa Fe (spicy and yummy) tostadas too. They have awesome lunch specials 11-3 m-f. Can't believe what a hidden gem this place is!

HUMONGOUS PORTIONS. You will never see so much seafood on your plate in your life lol. The value in seafood you get for what you pay is pretty extraordinary. The complimentary chips and dips (bean, avocado, and salsa) are lovely. Mixed Ceviche ($10.95 for Chico) - Good but I couldn't stomach the slimy oyster hahaTostada Combo (forgot) - These were too fishy for me to eat but my sister and mom seemed to enjoy! They came with rice and these crispy wedge fries that were delightful.Seafood Soup ($14.95 for Chico) warm, flavorful, amazing, packed either way seafood.Interior is colorful Mexican decorated. Staff are attentive and nice :)

Our first time visiting this place. The place was nicely decorated and clean. The complimentary chips, bean dip, pico de gallo and sauces were excellent! We had 1 shrimp fajita dish, which was really good; 1 steak fajita dish that was reported as tough steak; and 1 shrimp tropical dish, which was good but had alot of oil underneath the pineapples. My friends wanted margaritas but they only have wine margaritas. We tasted their La Playa wine, which was okay but we chose to a Mexican bottle beer. We couldn't decide if we want to go back again.

Stopped in to cool down on a hot day. The front door was propped open, something of a red flag, but the inside was at least cooler than the outside, if a little run down. The seafood cocktail was good, but nothing special. However, there were a few things I just wasn't a fan of. The booths were hard to get out of. They have a 3% credit card surcharge.

Definitely a hidden gem. We have been to the sushi spot a few doors down but this was worth the find and stop. Staff speaks english and Spanish. Super friendly. Food came out quickly. And was absolutely delicious. I had to stop myself from eating all the chips with the refried beans and pico so I didn't fill myself up too quickly before the main meal. The steak was tender. The vegetables cooked just right. There is a sign out front but none on the door itself. If you're looking for good Mexican food, try them out.

If it wasn't for the sign on the street you'd probably miss it. There's no signage near the entrance. We got seated immediately and menus arrived with chips & rather than the usual salsa it was 3 bowls containing refried beans, pico de gallo & a combo of pico, sour cream & avocado. Different & delicious. Seating was primarily booths carved and painted with seascape scenes. I ordered the lunch special - 3 fish tacos. They were unbattered, lightly fried & loaded with fish. We also got the steak fajitas. Like the fish tacos, there was enough for two. Needless to say we have enough for another meal. Prices were reasonable, service was good and food was aplenty.

Kitschy Mexican ambience and good service. Good food and drink, and the most amazing flan for dessert. There were four of us... A good time was had by all.

Fantastic experience all around. Very colorful atmosphere, polite staff, waitress was thorough in her explanation of food choices and the food was super fresh and tasty. This is real Mexican food at its best! I had the mixed seafood platter and my wife had the asada tostadas. Both amazing! Will definitely try it again soon!

I've lived in New Mexico for 25 years and always thought I should avoid seafood restaurants, because we are so far inland. Well, I was proven wrong with the freshest seafood meal I've had since I visited Seattle. Oysters on the shell and the Insalata la Playa filled my belly. (I couldn't finish the massive salad. Enough for two.) A marvelous sangria, too. The bill was just over 40 bucks. A festive and comfortable dining room. Authentically Mexican. Friendly server. And the food came to the table fast on this Sunday afternoon. I'll be back.
