Still a great park. Nice benefit for the Taylor Ranch community . Typically a nice level of usage: not too much, not too little.

This is a lovely park to visit to enjoy the outdoors. There are several sports areas, a large grassy field, ponds with ducks and turtles, a playground and a covered picnic area. I really enjoyed my visit to the park. It's a great place for families or anybody!

This is a beautiful park! But why are the bathrooms not open by the football fields? 2 weekends in a row now they've been locked! I have had to walk all the way across the parking lot to reach the bathrooms by the front entrance. Seems ridiculous when you have small kids and families at the fields to have to walk that far to reach a restroom. It's a 6 minute walk I timed it! PLEASE OPEN UP THESE BATHROOMS!

Lovely park to bike, play and enjoy the ducks. Happy I will soon be living 5 minutes away from it.

Great well kept park! So many sports facilities including horseshoes, baseball, and football! My favorite part is the duck pond. It's a little hard to see the fish but they are there. There is a white duck who is a little cranky but the ducks will come to you just to see if you have food for them! There is plenty of space to walk with grassy hills and trail. Fantastic community center across the street too!We went at a time where we could see the sunset and it was breathtaking!

In a socially-distanced world, city parks are one of the only on-the-daily experiences that switch things up and keep the claustrophobe demons at bay. Should we go see a movie? Nope. Hit up a theme park? Nah ah. Maybe catch a concert? Online, if that's your thing. No, right about now, if you want to make your day exceptionally remarkable, there's really nothing better than leashing up the dog and taking a long walk in the park.Yes, we've truly hit the lowest point in modern human history. Deep breath.Mariposa Basin Park is a great space to breathe deeply. It's expansive, a good three/four city blocks in acreage, with perimeter pathways stretching the entire property. Within, you'll find baseball diamonds, a basketball court, a playground, duck pond, and well-irrigated and maintained grassy um... knoll? Soccer field? Lots of green, which isn't common on the west side of this city. Lately, we've been coming here with friends for picnics, and it's Laura's favorite spot to teach yoga classes. All in all, I mean, we're talking Pandemic Party Central. We'd appreciate it if the city could post the sprinkler system schedule, though. A little heads-up would help.

Nice city park. On the West end beyond the pavilion is a little tree with a memorial to the little Albuquerque girl, Victoria Martens, who was savagely murdered by her mother's boyfriend. Please say a prayer in her memory. I like this park because it offers duck ponds, playgrounds and sporting fields with lots of parking. Walk your dog, have a picnic lunch or just sit and take it all in. The one thing I'd add is a skate park.

Mariposa Basin Park's got a lot features that make it worth visiting. There's lots of free parking, a playground, a duck pond, and a really nice walking trail that goes all the way around it.But wait, there are even more noteworthy things here! There are Little League fields and a number of large open fields of grass which are perfect for playing frisbee or touch football :-)Needless to say, I'm fond of this park and enjoy walking around on the path whenever I visit.
